iT WAS A GREAT STAY. ONLY THING WAS I BOOKED TWO ROOMS SINCE JANUARY I HAD CALLED EARLIER IN THE MONTH TOO MAKE SURE THE ROOMS ARE CLOSE TO EACH OTHER.... WHEN I ARRIVED ONE ROOM WAS ON THIRD FLOOR AND THE OTHER ON SEVENTH FLOOR . I ASKED IF THEY COULD BE CLOSER BUT WE WOULD HAVE TO PAY $30 MORE A DAY TO HAVE A KING BED ON THE THIRD FLOOR. Many have complained about the "sliding" bathroom door, but no one in my family thought it was a problem at all. Also, a lot of reviews say to park yourself to save money on the hotel valet service which is $40 per day, but the parking […] garages are all in the range of about $32 anyway, so treat yourself and let the valet take care of the car for you for the extra few bucks. I live in SF but booked this hotel for when my mother & sister came to visit. It's 7 blocks from my apartment, but I ended up staying there most of the nights with them anyway. The hotel was super accommodating -- my mom got in much earlier than she had planned to and they not only let her check in 5 hours early BUT they also UPGRADED her room (for […] no charge)!! The rooms were clean and the hotel is a green hotel, which is really cool (& pretty typical for SF but I'm sure not nearly as many hotels are really up on it). They didn't have compost bins in the rooms though, which I thought was odd. One of the coolest features is how they control the electricity. When you enter the room, you have to put your room key in a holder (for lack of a better term) next to the front door to turn the lights and AC/heat on. Not only does this help cut out unnecessary use of those things, but it also reminds you to grab your key before you leave! (FYI, once the key is in, you can manually control the lights and AC too). Mom thought the beds were very comfortable, I thought they were fine. No complaints but nothing amazing. The room was a little small (2 double beds) but was fine for us. Location wise, you're on the border of Chinatown, Union Square, Nob Hill, and the Financial District. It is close to lots of major MUNI routes (bus, train, trolley) and it's easy to get everywhere from here which is always really nice when you're visiting. I wasn't around for checkout but I assume it was a breeze and they even got my family a town car for the same price as a cab to the airport, which they were grateful for. Staff was friendly, restaurant/bar area looked nice but we didn't spend any time there. Bathroom had a really cool sliding door but no lock ... odd. Overall, it was the perfect place for them to stay and I would recommend it to anyone coming to visit this incredible city by the bay. Read more

Personnel très accueillant. et disponible. Chambre étroite toute en longueur, avec deux grands lits confortable, propre, grande salle de bain. Si vous venez en voiture,il y a un parking public jusque un peu plus haut, car à l'hôtel il demande 40 dollars par jour...En face, restaurant de la presse très cher (petit déj.)Situé à côté de la porte de Chinatown, […] 10 min à pied de Union square, des magasins et le super tram qui vous emmeneras en 20 min à Fisherman (port) compter 6 dollars/pp aller! Limpio, bien situado, muy cómoda habitación, de buen tamaño. La cama muy agradable. Cero ruido a pesar de estar en la entrada de China Town. Será mi selección si vuelvo a SF

Familie på 3 meget godt fornøyd med 1 ukes opphold fordi: stille rom (mot bakgård), gode senger, air condition fungerte meget bra, rent og pent, godt vedlikeholdt, trivelig og hjelpsom betjening (ga oss to gode restaurant-anbefalinger), super plassering med trivelige Chinatown like rundt hjørnet og shopping-distriktet rundt det andre hjørnet. Kort vei […] til BART banen. Det meste av severdigheter i sentrum innenfor gangavstand (cable cars, Chinatown, Lombard-street, Fishermans Wharf (hvis du liker å gå)). Buffet frokost var god, men kunne vært mer innholdsrik. Anbefales, men vet ikke om det er mye støy i rom mot gaten. Read more
