"Not So Private"
The walls are thin enough to hear your neighbor's conversation. And every step you take can be heard. And if you use the faucet or the shower, everyone will know. Still, it's not bad for the price. Location in Chinatown was okay (can walk to The House of Nan King). Bed springs left marks on my back, mold in bathroom and windows was disturbing. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of all touristic activity. It is simple, rooms are small, not expensive for san francisco. We were happy with our stay and we will book again if we come back. If u care about a luxurious stay this is not the place though. This was a great location, the rooms were small but knew that going in due to other reviews. The noise was not a problem once you closed the windows. The staff was very nice. "Emplacement stratégique à proximité des principaux"
Situé à l'entrée de Chinatown, l'hotel est bien placé pour une visite à pied des grands spots de la ville : quartier chinois, quartier italien, Lombard Street, Golden Gate Park & Bridge, la Marina et le Pier 39, le Walt Disney Museum Family. Nous sommes partis à 7h du matin à pied, nous sommes arrivés au Walt disney Museum Familly à 9h45 aux pieds du […] golden gate bridge, sans se presser en visitant les rues de San Francisco, ce qui permet de visiter des endroits que nous n'aurions pas découverts en voiture. Nous sommes allés à Golden Gate Park en utilisant le shuttle de Présidio qui est gratuit selon certaines heures, il permet de retourner près du Grant Plaza mais nous avons préféré rentrer à pied ! "Stay away"

The hotel is located in China Town with walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf. Extremely small rooms (compared to other hotels/inns in the US) and old furnishings, though it was reasonably clean. No AC available and very very dodgy Wi-Fi connection that barely worked (very unstable). Parking is available a few blocks from the hotel at the "special […] rate for hotel customers", 27$ USD per 24h (written 2010). Though, parking is extremely expensive in general in San Fran.
