I was switched 2 times on my three-night stay here. First, because my room was small and cramped. Second, because my wifi wasn't working. Wifi wasn't working in my third room but I got tired of complaining. For my trouble they gave me a voucher for an "executive" breakfast, supposedly worth $15. It was a bagel, smoked salmon and yogurt. The experience […] was so-so but the location almost made up for it. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Terrific smaller city hotel at reasonable rates."
Close to Union Square and Nob Hill. A good variety of restaurants nearby. Friendly and helpful staff. Charming tradition of wine tastings in early evening.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Conference Stay"
We had a wonderful time staying at the hotel while attending a conference. The room was a good-size, well furnished and quiet at night. The staff was amazing and very helpful. The only downside was that the hotel was not close to most of the public transportation in the city. A cable car line went by half a block away, but the closest bus route that […] went by was about 2.5 blocks away. And since it is north of Union Square and Market St, we found ourselves consistently walking up and down the large hill to get to whatever we wanted to go and see. "Good for Leisure/NOT for Business"
Gracious staff. However, slow access to email and unable to connect with my desktop at work through their WIFI. Manager tried unsuccessfully to help and I wasted a lot of time trying. Lost business. Eventually connected easily from another hotel. Frankly, I would have moved to that hotel but for the clause when I booked that commits payment whether […] you stay or not. Good location, clean, room a bit cold and smells musty as it is an old hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good price and location"
The staff were extremely friendly. The rooms are older, but charming. The nightly wine tasting is fun. This is about 7-8 blocks from the Convention Center (and uphill), but an excellent choice for the price. Would stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice location, not all things in working order"
This hotel is in a good location to walk to many areas of the city. I found this hotel experience to be rather strange and filled with annoyances. There are plenty of hotels in SF, I'd look at others before visiting this one again. After 1 day I returned to my room to find I no longer had access. I inquired at the desk and was told we had to move to […] another room as the one we were booked in was scheduled for deep cleaning that night. I was asked to move all our belongings to another room right then. Makes me wonder why were given that room at the start. The new room was nice enough but never had internet access that worked our entire 5 day stay. It did work fine in the other room. I spend lots of time on the phone with the IT support with no luck. Each time I inquired at the desk to see if it was fixed, they acted surprised as though they didn't even know there was a problem. I was told several times that the manager would be or had been notified depending on if it was a staff member I had already met and that the manager would be in touch. I never hear anything. Even at check out they said the manager would be in touch by email--not sure why but they confirmed my email nonetheless. No contact has been received. The wine at happy hour is a nice touch if you are around then and they always had a bowl of fresh apples in the lobby. I would have preferred more interest from the staff in fixing the issues than the food offerings available in the lobby. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location to get everything in"
Everyone was very helpful. Parking was easy and cost less than expected. A block from the cable cars. Restaurants and shopping all around. Friendly neighborhood. Easy walk to the convention center. Hotel is older but very classy. When the elevator is taking its time, take the stairs or just enjoy a slow down from the busy pace around you.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I thought the room was comfortable. No frills but clean and staff always available. The only issue that I had was that the internet (promised through booking -- I paid extra for this) was not dependable. I was finally able to access the internet on the 3rd day of a 5 day stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good location - close to Nob Hill & Union Square"
The room was a shabby and smelled musty; the bathroom towels were paper-thin; the bed and bedding were comfortable which was nice; but the walls were paper-thin and rowdy guests in nearby rooms partied loudly all night, completely disrupting any rest much less sleep. The bathroom cabinetry was shoddy and needed to be repaired; there was mold in the […] shower grouting; the maids forgot to replenish coffee packs for the coffee maker and also neglected to clean the coffee pot each day after use. The elevator broke on the last night/day of departure so all guests had to use stairs only. There is no valet parking service immediately available upon arrival; I had to leave my car double-parked at the entrance, call the lobby, and request valet service come assist with the car; it also takes 30 minutes to get your car retrieved from valet parking. The only positive about this hotel is its good location, within walking distance of Nob Hill and Union Square. I would not stay here again nor would I recommend this hotel to business or leisure travellers. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great Hotel for my needs"
Overall my stay was pleasant and for the price and area the hotel was reasonable. The rooms themselves were a little run down and my room was clean to my standards when I arrived. They did keep everything clean during my stay and the staff was friendly, I would stay here againGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great value hotel in prime location"
I stayed at this hotel during the week while visiting my home office. It's at a great location, near union square and chinatown. I was surprised at how quiet the room was being that it was in such a popular location (I stayed in room 509 Edgewood Estates). The hotel had only one 6 person elevator, that was a bit of an inconvenience because it was super […] slow. There was a fitness center that had a treadmill, bike, elliptical, small weights, exercise ball, a tv and water - just the basic machines. The hotel staff was super friendly. My room had one king size bed, two night stands, a desk, not much extra room around the bed though, but hey it's san francisco, space isn't exactly easy to find around here. There are no extra drawers for you to put your folded clothes in unless you use the nightstands, there's just a closet to hang your clothes. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. I recommend this hotel if you're here for a few days and need a value and quality hotel in a good location without the extra amenities other more expensive hotels might have. "It was ok"
The room was very clean, but I didn't like the smell of the cleaner - I bought some Oust! to lessen the smell, but I do have a very sensitive nose. The sheets & towels were very clean and nice & the bed was comfortable. It took 2 days to get a working TV remote. A block away from the China town entrance gate, close to cable car & Union Square & mall. […] All in all, an ok stay but have stayed in places I prefer more. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Close to everything you would want to see downtown"
The hotel staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful. The hotel is located in a great area that is convenient to Union Square, Chinatown and many other sites are either within walking distance or you can catch the cable car 1 block away. Not a bad price compared to others in the area but room is very small. So if you don't mind a very small bedroom […] and small bathroom then this is the room for you. "Good for budget-minded"
Stayed 2 nights during a major Apple convention, which jacked up the prices of all SF hotels. The Executive Vintage was affordable. It is an older hotel, and it shows. However, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable and the location is convenient.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good location - Terrible Pillows"
The hotel definitely has some pros and cons. On the positive side, the location isn't bad at all. Close to Union Square, close to public transportation, and so on. The service at the hotel was also good. Staff was friendly and responded well to requests. On the down side, the rooms definitely need some updating. The worst part had to be the bed & pillows. […] We had a king size bed that was okay, but it came with the worst pillows I've ever used in my life. They were really small and squished down to practically nothing. I asked if they had any firmer and/or larger pillows, and they sent us a couple new ones. One was decently firm/usable, the other was just as bad as before. If they invested in some better pillows, I'd probably be interested in staying here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Excelent location to downtown business."
This is an older hotel but in very good shape. Room was clean and in good repair. Staff was excelent. Very helpful with directions and places to dine and site see. Close to street car service and downtown area with a shoet taxi ride. Will stay at this hotel the next time i am in San Francisco on businees or pleasure.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Executive Hotel Vintage Court"
My Husband arrived late and wanted to get a good night sleep, when something bit him. A bed bug!!! He was moved immediately to a new room, right across from the elevator. Not a great experience.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"OK for the price"
Older hotel, with remodeled rooms. Main downside of my room was a sort of a sour smell, but it was not unbearable or enough for me to ask for a different room. I would probably go back if the price was the same. Fairly convenient access to downtown and convention center area.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Union Square Bargain"
The Vintage Court on Bush Street is well located to restaurants, shopping and transportation. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well maintained. While it is an older hotel, it is vey comfortable. I stay here whenever I am in San Francisco. The common belief that hotels in San Francisco are expensive is not true.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Disgusting room"
This room was horrible. Not clean. Hair in the bath tub, the floor wasnt vacuumed and the trash bin not cleaned. I was completely grossed out and felt embarrassed that I had picked this hotel for my colleagues. DO NOT STAY HERE.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nothing "Executive" About this hotel at all"
I should have known better when I called and asked that my fiancée's name be added to the reservation so that if she arrived prior to me, that she would be able to check in, head upstairs to relax and unwind from her travels. They absolutely refused to accomodate the request. I asked to speak with the manager, and this rude individual "Nathan" who claimed […] to be the "guest services manager" said it was for my own identity protection. What a crock. Once i arrived, the lobby was full of strange guest all over drinking on the complimentary wine service the hotel provide each evening. When I asked for a glass of red, the bell hop looked at me and said, "sorry, you snooze...you loose." Wow. At this point it was almost laughable. The rooms are tiny, the smell like smoke, the elevator is unsafe, and the staff is almost impossible to feel at all comfortable. I frequently visit SF two-three times per month and this is bar far the most offensive and uncomfortable stay I have ever had. STAY AWAY from this over priced underwhelming experience. "Nice little hotel, well kept"
This was a lovely little hotel, definitely vintage in feel with the bathroom covered in little octagonal tiles from teh 1930s I would guess. But clean, friendly staff and an easy walk to Union Square area. Though not as easy coming home as it is up hill. Would certainly stay again. And this is despite the fact my room was directly across from the elevator. […] I slept just fine and there wasn't any excessive noise even. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Location Location Location"
I had an interview in the city and was looking for a place within walking distance. This hotel solved that purpose well. The staff and service were good too. But as far as the condition of the hotel (especially the rooms) it could use a face lift to be frank. Well it's SF so i dont expect big rooms or anything,.. It was a little cramped up which I totally […] get but the quality of the mattress, the cleanliness of the sheets, the size and quality of the TV, simple things like "EASY" access to additional wall charging points would make the stay better.. "Executive Hotel Vintage Court"
The name Executive Hotel Vintage Court is quite misleading. "Executives" would not be caught dead here. "Hotel" is kind of a stretch -- multi-floor motel is more appropriate. Vintage probably fits. And, there were no "Courts" to speak of, be they areas open to the sky, stately dwellings, halls of justice, or otherwise. If we are to be precise, this […] hotel would have to be renamed the Entry Level Noisy Multi-Floor Motel with Rock Hard Beds and No Services at All. Supposedly, there was some sort of wine happy hour, but I never saw it and never even saw evidence of it. In the morning, they put out some coffee, and there were a few green apples during the day, but that's all I saw. Oh, and the valet parking is a total rip-off. I paid roughly $50/night for your car to be parked at a public lot one block away. Then, when I wanted my car back (so I could go catch my flight) it took the valet nearly 40 minutes to bring it to me. Oh, and speaking of slow, the elevator (there is only one) routinely took 10 minutes or more to get from wherever it was to the ground floor. I would recommend taking the stairs. On the positive side, at least I didn't see any bed bugs. So, if you are truly an "Executive" or you have the ability to stay elsewhere, I would recommend that you do so. "Vintage or Plain Old?"
The hotel staff was very warm and friendly and its location was quite advantageous, a block or two away from the entrance to Chinatown. However, the rooms were not only vintage but quite worn. Carpets, furniture, fixtures could all use replacements or repair. The bathroom was as small as a closet, so small that the sink was separate. The wireless internet […] service was finicky, and I wasn't given a password until a day after I arrived, after which the internet was still finicky. If you're the kind of person who goes for vintage hotels, you might still enjoy it. But if worn-out, cramped surroundings grate on your nerves, then keep searching. "Hotel Vintage Court, San Francisco"
I had a HORRIBLE experience in this hotel. Not only was the staff not helpful but they had a lot of attitude and kept rolling their eyes when I asked for anything. Even though they say its a non-smoking place, it reeks of cigaratte smoke, the bathrooms were digny. The towels & the sheets were dirty & when I asked them to be changed, they told me there […] was no one to do that. Most of the bulbs in the room was out & never replaced even after letting the front desk know. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
