"Don't stay here"
When we reserved a king bed, when we cheched in we were given a room with two twins. We called reception and they moved us to the king bed room. At 3am a customer pulled the fire alarm an everyone had to evacuate, there was no fire. At 8am there was a 45 minute power outage at the hotel. "an overnight excape..."

If this hotel had a problem,it was that the wifi was extremely slow. Although minor if they were to put a small table and chairs in the rooms it would make the room more comfortable also the TV channel selection was poor. This causes a bit of a hassle while checking in because you probably won't know what building you are in until you go to check in. Overall we had a pleasant experience but not before being given a less than acceptable room. I prebooked a no-cancellation room months in advance and when we arrived we were given a sub-basement room on the corner of a busy intersection. "Don't look too closely"
This was a spur of the moment adventure, a weekend in SF. The hotel was convenient enough, four blocks from the Wharf. The room was clean yet everything was well worn, carpet, drapes, bed spread, towels. I remember staying in Holiday Inn's over the past 40 years, they always remind me of the old saw about the tired old mare, rode hard and put away wet. […] Not much has changed. Chose this hotel for it's location and ease to walking the wharf. Only downside to staying here was the parking. For those that do not know, parking will cost you $40 a day but this is typical for San Francisco and not just this hotel, so be prepared. "Our Stay"
The hotel was nice and centrally located to everything. The confusing part was that there is another Holiday Inn right down the block so we had to figure out which one we were booked at. It's a great location if you want to visit the touristy Fisherman's Wharf, but in all other respects, the hotel was disappointing. You pay for what you get at this hotel. Nothing fancy. Was annoying to have 2 doubles instead of a king bed as originally booked. They have a little shop open until late so this was a bonus. The noise from the morning traffic starts before 7:00 am, so sleeping in was impossible. Also the noise ordinance allows bars to play music until 2:00 am. O hotel tem um conforto médio, mas achei muito caro para o que oferecem. O preço dele foi muito mais caro do que eu paguei no Sheraton em San Diego. O estacionamento do hotel é um absurdo, vc tem que pagar U$ 40,00 (quarenta dólares) por dia para estacionar o carro.
