The Hyatt Regency San Francisco is positioned across from the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero waterfront in San Francisco, Calif. Embarcadero Center shops stand adjacent to this property. Union Square and Moscone Convention Center are nearby.
Hotel Features.
A commanding spherical metal sculpture rises from a reflecting pool in the soaring Feng Shui-influenced atrium lobby. Cylindrical glass elevators glide between the hotel's 17 floors, delivering guests to their rooms in futuristic style. The lobby offers up-market shops and a car-rental agency. Dining options include the Eclipse Restaurant that features a California salad, pasta, sandwich, steak and seafood menu. The lobby bar, 13 Views, offers 13 picture-window views of the adjacent plaza and waterfront. The bar serves cocktails, specialty drinks and appetizers. A total of 67,000 square feet of function space includes 35 flexible function rooms and a street-level ballroom. Wired and wireless Internet access are available for a fee. A staffed business center is equipped with three computer stations and offers fax, photocopy, print and shipping services. The complimentary, 24-hour fitness center contains exercise cycles, exercise balls, weights, steppers and stair climbers. Workout machines are mounted with individual TV monitors.

The Hyatt Regency San Francisco offers 802 contemporary guestrooms with autumnal color schemes and city or bay views. Hyatt Grand Beds feature pillow-top mattresses, 250-thread-count linens and chenille throws. Rooms include cable television equipped with premium movie channels, DVD players on request, iPod docking stations, video game consoles, and wireless and wired Internet access for a fee. A turndown service is available upon request, complimentary safes accommodate laptops, and mini fridges are provided. Bathrooms contain makeup mirrors, granite vanities and floors, and Portico toiletries. Guests may request an in-room massage. Regency Club Rooms offer complimentary continental breakfasts and early-evening hor d'oeuvres.

"Great location if you want to visit water front"
Great location for waterfront shopping, the Ferry Building and the new Exploratorium. All are within easy walking distance. The breakfast for the conceirge floors is fabulous. "I'd stay there again"
Having lived in San Francisco for years and still owning a rental there, it was strange to have to stay in a hotel. But the Hyatt Regency is so well located and everyone was so nice and helpful I felt right at home immediately. We loved the hotel and the location. There were plenty of homeless across the street, bless their souls and hope they can stay warm. You guys charged for the dog and did not offer anything for them. Great location slightly away from tourist sights. The "embarcadero" is not the wharf of fisherman's wharf. We stayed at the Regency Club at the Hyatt--well worth the extra money over standard hotel room prices! We were on a much higher floor, but the Regency Club gave us access to even better 360 degree city views--and tons of extras. Our own very friendly, well informed concierge (Larry--extremely helpful and personable), plenty of snacks, meals, and drinks […] in the Regency Club were included or were a minimal cost (for liquor--at most half price for the area). We are planning all of our future vacations be at Hyatts with Regency Clubs after our very favorable experience here! The room was a bit smaller than other hotels, but the Regency Club made it worth it (hotel room was very nicely designed and loved the bathroom--great lighting for a change). Larry was a gem! "Fun overnight to the city"
Great location. Right across from the ferry building. You are close enough to walk to chinatown, downtown, or union square. The staff here was very friendly and helpful.
