The bulls and bears of industry tread the streets of the Financial District, home to the city’s tallest buildings, including the iconic Transmerica Pyramid. The towers give way to The Embarcadero, the broad, palm-lined avenue that begins at the San Francisco Giant’s AT&T Park and ends at Fisherman’s Wharf. The road passes by the Ferry Building, a landmark transformed into an artisanal food market.

Hotel was not very nice, nickel and dimed for everything. Hotels.com informed us that we would have two doubles and a roll out, the roll out and 3rd person was extra. I paid extra and when we arrived they said they don't do that, sorry, call hotels.com. I had to stay somewhere else which was total inconvenience. I called your 800 number and reached […] someone in Central America that I could not understand. I asked to be transferred to a US call center and they would not do it. I would appreciate someone contacting me prior to me disputing the charge on American Express. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"WORST Hyatt experience ever! Would never go back!"
My wife and I spent our anniversary there recently. The only thing we liked about this hotel was its location. Upon check in, we noticed the room assigned was fairly noisy, I politely inquired if it was possible to have us transferred to a different room or a higher floor since both my wife and I were light sleepers, the front desk lady replied "you […] have to REALIZE it's San Francisco here, and it is noisy here"; the bathroom was like a 2-star motel standard, the bath tub was not draining AT ALL, and the people who came to clean the drain of tub gave us a bad attitude because we called them around 10:00 pm - maybe it was too late for them to work. Checkout was super slow and once I got back home, I noticed the actual incidental charge to my credit card was DOUBLE of the invoice I signed upon check out, so I end up dealing with their centralized accounting department for the past three weeks and they STILL couldn't sort things out for me. I already gave up on asking for the refund because I've sent numerous emails and phone calls, I have the actual invoice showing the agreed amount, I even sent them my visa statement as proof and they still couldn't/wouldn't correct their mistakes. My wife and I have stayed in several other Hyatt hotels even at cheaper prices, this particular Hyatt Regency San Francisco Financial District is the WORST ever. I'm sure everyone's experience is different but I personally would NEVER EVER go back there. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
