Literally right across from Daytona International Speedway! Also, literally, in the mall parking lot. Hotel staff was pleasant and helpful, room was clean and well appointed, and breakfast was great, though a little crowded when we went. I really think Homewood Suites is one of the better hotels, especially if you eat breakfast! My only complaint would […] be that they force you to turn right out of the parking lot (away from Speedway Blvd) and you have to loop around the mall or turn around to head towards the beach, but that's the worst I can say about this hotel. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The hotel and room were clean, and we were able to enjoy not only breakfast, but a lite dinner and beer/wine. The rates were very reasonable to include all of this, along with providing coffee in the room, a full refrigerator, and the ability to prepare a meal in the room if we wanted.

This was a five star room, at a two star rate! It was one of the nicest rooms I stayed in! We wanted a hotel close to the race track and we were across the street from the 4th turn of the track. We were able to walk out the back door of the hotel and go to the biggest mall in the county! Also, when it was time to eat, we could walk to every type a restaurant […] a person would want! We had 2 rooms for spring break week, and really enjoyed our stay. The place was clean, and well maintained. Looked to be 4-5 years old. Great location next to a lot of restaurants, and a large mall. Right across from the speedway on the main drag. But most of all I want to compliment the entire hotel staff. We drove all night, and got in around 11am. […] We walked into the lobby during their staff meeting I guess. They all started cheering us and welcoming us. They called housecleaning and had our rooms prioritized to get cleaned so we could get some rest. The manager came out and offered us water and soda while we waited in the very nice lobby area. Every staffer you passed, said hello. And would run to hold open doors for you. After we got checked in, they called up to make sure everything was OK. I travel a lot for work and stay at a lot of hotels. This was probably the nicest staff of any place I have ever stayed. I believe they must have some new management in the last year or two. And they are on top of things. HIghly recommended. Read more

Very pleased with the accommodations, was surprised that dinner was included the first night, nice perk. Room was very clean, only problem, room was not cleaned until 5pm the second day. We had been out all day and had just got back, expecting a clean room. It was not.

We picked this place last minute as we were on two wheels and mother nature was dumping buckets of water on us without hope of stopping. The staff at check in was super friendly, the room was in fantastic shape, and it's right next to the speedy, the mall and at least 3 eateries including UNO. Next trip to Daytona, we will stay here on purpose.

We were traveling through on our way to Orlando and stayed the night. It was clean and the staff was very kind and courteous. The room was very nice and clean. This hotel is right across the street from the Daytona Speedway. We chose it b/c it seemed like a nice hotel at a low rate--there wasn't a race that weekend. It was a GREAT hotel! The room was huge and very pretty, clean and had all the conveniences you could think of. There's an outdoor pool--it was clean! There's also a hot tub, and that didn't set […] off any alarms in my OCD brain, either. The buffet breakfast was fabulous, too; omelets, potatoes, sausage, waffles, fruit, yogurt.... Don't bother to pay extra (I noticed that as an option on hotels.com) b/c it's included with each room. If going to Daytona beach is not because of the beach, but for some other reasons, this is for sure the hotel to stay. This hotel is at good location and very clean. Breakfast has lot of varieties and good. Staffs are friendly and helpful, especially the breakfast room ladies, full of spirit early 7:00 am in the morning.

Overall our stay was good. Front Desk Staff could be nicer, more sociable, it doesn't take a lot to show a smile instead of a frown. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, amenities good. Close to the speedway which makes touring that much easier. I would stay here again.
