Ramada Inn Waukegan Gurnee

the title says it all-- however, the pool and hot tub were clean. We were kept awake by the folks in the next room- the walls are like paper-- our neighbors were not being that loud-- we could just hear everything. The hotel restaurant had amazing food but very high prices.

We had a wonderful stay at the Ramada we stayed at. When we arrived they gave us a ground floor room that was located away from the pool. I asked if they had something closer to the pool so that my husband wouldn't have to try to walk so far because he has difficulty walking. Without hesitation they looked and found a room that was just around the corner […] from the pool, and gladly changed my room for me. They had many choices at the free breakfast that came with the room rental. I will stay here again when I visit. Excellent Service!!! If I had to make any suggestions to change something I would just say that the room was a little dark, maybe it needs a new color update but it was very clean. Read more

The hotel was clean and nice. The pool area wasn't monitored very well because children were in the jacuzzi which is against the rules. Not a big selection of restaurants in the area.

We stayed here to be close to Six Flags and Gurnee Mills Mall. The location was ok. The back parking lot had a fence to seperate from apartment buildings. We did not feel comfortable leaving our vehicle back there. Thankfully, we could park in front. Otherwise, they had a good breakfast and the hotel was clean.

We were there for 2 nights in the 3 queen room. When we got to the hotel, the pictures online made it look more modern, it is not. We got to our room and it smelled funky, to the point that we had to put our car air freshener on the AC. That worked until our AC went out Tues night until 11:30. We were not told, and assumed it broke. The front desk told […] us it was a power outage. I suggested that we get some kind of comp for the inconvenience since we traveled over 5 hours to get there. The said there was nothing they could do. Now to the pool, the pool was dirty, for an indoor pool, and not kept up well. The floor of the pool has chunks out of it, and was not kept up. We were to scared to use the jacuzzi, because it was horrible, and we are anything but germaphobes. I highly recommend a better place to stay if you plan to go to Six Flags, there are cheaper, nicer hotels around Waukeegan, and Gurnee for the same price, or cheaper. Read more

After looking for days for a room we found this place that was prefect for my family 3 adults and 22 month old twins lots of room for all 5 of us . it was very clean we would stay here again on our next trip.

Older property, good condition,neat and clean, front desk- Angela- very helpful. Memorial Weekend booked with kids, hotel personnel had to threaten to kick rowdy kids out at 2 am right outside our room. Breakfast was skimpy, 1 waffle maker for 400 room hotel says we really do not want you all to have a waffle.

This is the 3rd time that my family and I stayed at this hotel while going to Six Flags. All three times, we have been more than pleased. The rooms were very big and accommodated 2 adults and 4 children very comfortably. I will definitely be staying at this hotel again in the future.
