"RTC graduation"

Hotel was run down, and not the cleanest. Pool was swamped with children. There was no relaxing in the hot tub. Too many unsupervised kids. And I felt disgusting after sitting in it....didn't trust if it was clean. Halls stunk. Ceiling tiles were gross. Cobwebs in the bathroom. "Cheap but not nice!"
Bad cat urine smell in a few hallways. Generally dirty hallways. Pool and hot tub was nice though. Had a bad experience on Sat. night with roudy partying close to our room. We had to get up early to meet our graduating sailor from Naval base and the hotel did not evict the group until after 1:30a.m. We had to get up at 6:00a.m.!!! We called the desk […] 3 times between 10:20pm. and 1:15 a.m. to complain about noise and not getting any rest. Did get a refund for the one night but it left a big sour note at the of our trip. "dingy hotel- walls too thin"
the title says it all-- however, the pool and hot tub were clean. We were kept awake by the folks in the next room- the walls are like paper-- our neighbors were not being that loud-- we could just hear everything. The hotel staff was awful. The hotel was in major need of being updated. The pool was huge but cold. The hot tub was nice but not very hot. The sauna was broken. The room smelled of cigarette smoke. Not somewhere I would ever stay again. Cable went out while we were there. Check in was at 3 our room was not clean and front desk could not contact housekeeping […] to find out when rooms would be available so I had to search for housekeeping so we could check in at 430. I am a breastfeeding mother and needed to find my son so until the room was available they gave me a key to the conference room which had a table covered with food and drinks and garbage on the floor. Staff was nice and very helpful. Hotel itself is older and pretty run down. The room smelled and we could hear every bump and noise from our two neighbors. No elevator made for an interesting time lugging luggage to the second floor. It worked but wasnt really worth the money. "Don't waste you money."
Front desk service sucked. The young lady seemed as if she didn't want to be there. Checking out the young man was more into his phone than the customers. The room was a little dusty and dirty in some spots. For the price I paid it was not worth me staying there. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone and I'm a simply guy. The hotel was very clean, however, I would classify it as a "motel" not a "hotel". The amenities listed were by far exaggerated. The space was very small with no place in the bathroom for toiletries. The facility is 2 story with no elevator. Carrying heavy suitcases upstairs was not fun. The gym consisted of 1 treadmill and 2 bikes. "Disappointed"
Thank god for the nice bed's. The staff was very disappointing, the hotel was run down and when we called the desk for the pool area light's to be turned on, nobody came down. "very strange hotel"
The hotel looked pretty nice from the outside. The beds were comfortable but they could do some up keep. We didn't get much sleep because of the loud drunks and dog barking. The worst part was we had no tv at night. The tv kept turning off so the second day they changed our room but the same thing happened again. Bathroom wasnt clean on the counter when we got there. Lighting at night was not always on. The front staff told us to park in back which was closer to our room however the was little lighting and the area behind the hotel was very unwelcoming and questionable. We felt very unsafe. I had higher expectations for this hotel based on other reviews, but was entirely disappointed. The hotel was dirty and the the majority of the staff were rude and made me feel uncomfortable. The location is close to the Navy base and a short distance from shopping and dining locations, but the area overall is sketchy. "I don't know what to say."
We were there for 2 nights in the 3 queen room. When we got to the hotel, the pictures online made it look more modern, it is not. We got to our room and it smelled funky, to the point that we had to put our car air freshener on the AC. That worked until our AC went out Tues night until 11:30. We were not told, and assumed it broke. The front desk told […] us it was a power outage. I suggested that we get some kind of comp for the inconvenience since we traveled over 5 hours to get there. The said there was nothing they could do. Now to the pool, the pool was dirty, for an indoor pool, and not kept up well. The floor of the pool has chunks out of it, and was not kept up. We were to scared to use the jacuzzi, because it was horrible, and we are anything but germaphobes. I highly recommend a better place to stay if you plan to go to Six Flags, there are cheaper, nicer hotels around Waukeegan, and Gurnee for the same price, or cheaper. "Not up to Ramada standards"
The hotel is old and very run down. Bathroom was dirty. carpet was very worn and dirty. Beds were comfortable, but because of everything else you were left wondering how clean they were too. There were trucks in the lot, so there was no place to park our car.
