"Economy Hotel"
The front desk was sarcastic upon check in informing us that it was an economy hotel. The wireless internet was down for awhile. Continental breakfast was adequate.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Price is Right"
Lobby and hallways stunk of stale cigarette smoke. Front desk person was somewhat condencending. Sketchy neighboorhood. For the price, the rooms were clean and the price was right. We stayed one night and spent little time in the motel so it served its purpose.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Super 8"
Booked thru Hotels.com at a good rate, when I arrived they demanded to see my discount AAA card which I don't have and never indicated during the reservation that I did have so they tried to up the price! Woke the next morning with bites on my arms!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not Good"
The hotel is in much need of upgrading...very old and everything is poor quality, damaged or just plain worn out with age and the whole place stinks with cigarette smoke mixed with some kind of air freshener to help cover the smoke smell. Doesn't work and we could smell that before we entered the front door as it was opened to let some air in and the […] awful smell hit you like a ton of bricks as we approched the entrance. Darn near cancelled and moved on to another place but it was a long 8 hour trip that day and we were all just plain tired and not in the mood to look for another place. The people in Bangor are the most friendly we have encountered in a long time. Well, all but one, the owner/operator. She checked us in and hardly said a word thru-out our 2 day stay not even when we passed her counter several times a day...not one word and always had a "I'm not in a good mood" look on her face. we are non smokers so to be in a smoking room was a big turn-off . As soon as we opened the door the smoke odor hits you. it was not very pleasant at all. I would not go there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not the cleanest"
The bathroom left A LOT to be desired. When I lifted the toilet seat cover, there was someone else's hair on the seat, as well as what looked like splash marks (perhaps from a male who did not lift the seat?). Thankfully I always bring Lysol wipes. Also the sink stopper was stuck and my husband had to force it open so the water could drain out.
