I THOUGHT IT WAS A VERY NICE PLACE. I WENT IN THE WINTER THOUGH SO THERE WASNT MUCH OPEN IN THE TOWN/VILLAGE AND WE HAD TO DRIVE ALL THE WAY TO QUENSBURY TO EAT BECAUSE WE DIDNT WANT TO EAT AT THE HOTELS RESTAURANT WHICH WAS AN OPTION. OVERALL A VERY NICE PLACE.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Lake George Holiday Weekend"
Much better this year than last. The value is in getting the breakfast included. Our room did not have a room safe which was a little inconvenient however, we were able to lock up our valuables in the managers office. We found the room to be comfortable and pleasant. "Holiday Inn Lake George Turf"
The hotel was beautiful and in a great location - easy to walk to all the village area attractions. The only downfall for us was that the hotel was a little too kid friendly for us, as a couple without kids. The pool was again beautiful like the rest of the hotel, but is only 4 1/2 ft deep at it's deepest point and they do not have many lounge chairs. […] They also have a relaxing hot tub that is only open until 10:00pm and most of the kids are still up at that time and were all in the hot tub!...which makes it very difficult to relax and enjoy after a day in the sun. "holiday inn lake george"
The good: clean. nice pillows. sauna was nice. The bad: Extremely loud, can hear every noise to the right, left, above, and in the hall, including people and pluming/heating noises, you hear every toilet flush and every shower in the rooms around.
