"Call ahead for shuttle"

"Great Hotel for an overnight connection"
I flew into JFK from the Middle East on my way back to Houston, but I couldn't get a flight out that night. I really enjoyed my stay, The shuttle was waiting at the airport. "Some Major Missteps, But Overall Okay"
Two things stood out negatively: I had a stain on my bed sheet...it was a bit off-putting. Also, the sink drained very, very slowly...there was still water in the basin the following morning when I awoke. Great location if you're flying out of JFK, free on-street parking, shuttle. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The shuttle bus driver drove us to the airport and gave us his number so we could phone for a pickup on the way back. Spent one night, we had an early flight the next morning. Checked in about 7:30 PM . Bell hop greeted us out side was very efficient, staff behind desk were friendly and polite. "Pretty cozy place"
Got a king size bedroom. Check in was super speedy. Great service, awesome room. No issues with any of the rooms appliances which includes a microwave and mini refrigerator. The AC worked just fine. It was very quiet and tranquil on a saturday night. The beds were so darn comfy, almost fell asleep instantly as I laid down. Bathroom supplied with Neutrogena […] and bath and body works supplies. Only downside is the food served there and the seriously limited tv channels. The room I was initially in had a wet ..towel weird smell. I asked to be changed and in 2 minutes I was accommodated. This hotel is very convenient for a night overstay between two flights. Staff at the reception desk was very friendly. My room clean and quiet. I called ahead to ask about pick up at the JFK airport and transfer to the hotel. I was told that they had 24 hr. service and given a number to call upon arrival. We were arriving a Mid-night in a strange town in a bad neighborhood. I called the number , received an answer that was barely understandable. I was told to go to the pick up location and […] wait 10 minutes. I, my wife,daughter and son-in -law went to the location to wait. we waited 60 minutes and longer 1 and 1/4 hr. No Van > I am a Hilton gold card member and a Delta Diamond member . I called a second time and was told the bus was one the way After 10 more minutes, a van from another competing hotel brand felt sorry for us and took us near the front of the Hilton.
