I actually upgraded for a small fee to a better room on a higher floor to get a better view, however, the shower was not very "family" friendly. it was a round glass circle in the middle of the room, with ZERO privacy. On a romantic getaway, this might be ok, but for a family, it was not comfortable or convenient, we had to send people out to take a […] shower and get dressed. We loved the jacuzzi tub in our room, our 2 year old could watch cartoons and swim for hours! The indoor pool was fun for the family too.

Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. My wife`s mother never been to Lk. Tahoe before. Great view from of the lake the 8th. fl. Had a touch of snow as well which was a plus.She does not travel much. Walking distance of gondola to ski areas. Nice casino with $5.00 tables and $45 poker tournament. Probably not as crowded as Harrah's next door. Unlike Vegas, discount food at nice restaurant if you have trop card. Can get one even if not gambling. Nice steak or shrimp dinner and inexpensive breakfast with card. Hotel was outdated . Our room was not nice. There was stuff on walls that was not cleaned. The beds were old and were very uncomfortable. The bathroom was old with mismatched fixtures. Faucets were loose and tub dripped. It was very run down.

We enjoyed our stay; the toilet broke within the first few minutes we were in the room but maintenance addressed the problem immediately and would not take a tip! Although no coffee maker or fridge in our room the lobby coffee shop was directly across from the elevators and the ice machine was centrally located so we kept our cooler in our room.

rooms are ourdated. they have springs beds, so unconfortable. I had to pay for resort ammenities that we did not use. the two days that we stayed, could not sleep, very loud neighbors. I don't recommend it for family vacation.

Montbleu was... Okay... Bad view of a building from the room. Room still has old Cesar's etched glass in it which is kinda funny. Crummy TV. Hey it's 2013 step up a little bit. Bed was average to slightly below average in comfort. Casino smells like old smoke. Small table game area. Not enough dealers. Poker room is nice. My stay was not that great at this hotel. It had a cube TV, the furniture was scuffed up, the decor was poor, the beds seemed more like full instead of queens, not to mention the uncomfortable pillows. There was a small leak from the shower head that kept wetting the bathroom floor. The paint job could ahve used touch ups. It was rough. Me and my family […] could not wait to get outta there! Room was supposed to have a jetted tub but had a handicapped shower instead. Since we already moved in I didn't feel like complaining about it to get another room. It's an older hotel so fixtures and stuff look well used. TV was a CRT and cable broke after the first night. My 2 children, husband & I stayed for 3 days & 2 nights. The hotel was close enough to the ski lifts, (pefecyly accomodating our snowboard trip), nearby shops & entertainment so that my teenaged son was able to meet his friends @Heavenly Valley Shops & we were able to get food from outside the hotel. You may have to venture out for food because there's […] only 1 restaurant &1deli, no conveince store, although the local CVS is just next door. The interior of the hotel is amazing, room prices weren't too bad. The biggest problem I had was the $10.99 wifi. All other hotels had free wifi, I was surprised that a hotel would still charge for wi-fi. Overall, the hotel is great for leisure but terrible for business.

For what we paid, it was less than what we expected. We had two major issues w/the plumbing: taking a shower was an adventure in temperature; alternating from scalding hot to freezing cold every 2 seconds. And the toilet backed up; on the 5th floor! It was fixed right away, but then the sink wouldn't drain very easily and it kept making noises. I had pre-paid atleast a month in advance for 2 queen beds with a jacuzzi, but when I checked in they said they only had a king with a jacuzzi left so one person had to sleep on the couch which was not a pull out. Ours was a deluxe room. It was nice and spacious. But there was no door for the bathroom because of the plan. It was difficult to get out of jaccuzzi tub. Extra towel rod in shower would have been good. Exhaust fan wasn't working. Didn't repair even after the complaint.

I am in a wheelchair, so moving about the room and the handicapped amenities are important. Our room was very easy to move around, and the shower/bathroom was fabulous. Stayed during the week overnight in a standard room. The room was clean, the bathroom large, the bed comfortable and the furniture was in good shape. The couch in the room was a nice feature for lounging in the room without having to sit on the bed or a desk chair. The check in was easy and took no time at all. One thing I didn't like, which I knew […] going in, was a $2.25 daily fee, basically a resort fee. I think these fees should be added to the room rate since I can't not pay it, even if I didn't want to use any of their facilities. The casino was fun and had a good mix of games and machines and I was even doing well for a while. We ate at the coffee shop in the morning and thought it was a good value. It is clear that someone else (different company) has taken over the property. The pool and spa areas have been updated. The deals for food and drinks make the property a lot more fun. This resort is adjusting to the changing demands of South Lake Tahoe. I will stay here again.

was debating on staying at which side of stateline. pick up this one with the hope of getting good deals on casino hotel for food but end up with not much. the deco in the room is old, and outdated luxury layout doesn't necessary help on the comfort of the stay.
