"One Night Visit"
Went with my wife and one year old for a one night trip to Tahoe. It was extremely cold and there was beautiful snow everywhere. we walked trough Harrah's and Havey's and besides the smoke, which wasn't terrible, we had a very nice time. "Family vacation"

Pleasantly surprised there wasn't much of a smoke smell at all from casino. The two bathrooms are nice, but not necessary. The closet area is huge, too. Views aren't that bad. My husband and I just wanted a nice, convenient overnight stay to enjoy Lake Tahoe and do some gambling. Harrah's delivered on all counts. Clean, quiet (on our night) and comfortable. I still love Harrahs but its lost its classiness that it had in the 70s and 80s. just has a different feeling.I know the economy and indian cainos have hurt tahoe. I just miss the excitement that the cainos always had! Also miss the the little TV in the bathrooms!!! Staying at Harrah was always a treat and I still love the indoor pool but even the pool […] area is missing somthing. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious, with two bathrooms! Nice view, comfortable king sized bed. However, the sofa bed for our son was awful. I've been staying at Harrah's Lake Tahoe for over 20 years and it was always a 5 star experience. My recent visit was a major disappointment. The hotel is not being maintained like it used to be and is in need of a major renovation.
