The air conditioner in the room was high up on the wall, so you needed to stand on a chair to adjust it. Breakfast was disorganized and not sufficent. There was no milk for the ceral, no coffee, and the orange juice was watered down. There were two young men sleeping on couches in the lobby. When we arrived the outside temperature was 104 and were surprised to find that the HOT air was blowing in the room. We were very uncomfortable for a few hours until I could get the room cooled down. The sink in the bathroom didn't drain and because it was so late at night I just had my kids use the bathtub to wash hands. I found some cereal and asked the host for some milk. He reluctantly filled the container with only a little milk which wasn't enough for 2 bowls. The beds sank in the middle and was very hard to sleep on. I didn't get any sleep. The pool was small and looked nasty. They did not keep up on supplying the breakfast food, drinks, and eating utensils. I will never stay there again.

Choose another hotel for the same price. The room was clean but missing a shower curtain, and iron. Breakfast buffet included waffles, 2 sugary cereals and tiny little gas station donuts...no fruit, yogurt or pretty much anlything else you want to eat. In a scary section of town.

Our room albeit the bed was made and clean the bathroom had human waste on the wall beside the stool. The tub looked like it had never been cleaned. When we arrived there was only one bath towel and 2 hand towels in the room. When we asked for more we were given two towels that looked like dish rags. While I recognize that the rate was super low, it is my opinion that no matter how low the rate is certain things should be offered. If you offer the service, do it right. The pool was too cold for our daughter to swim. The breakfast was feeble and unmanned so unstocked. Computers were down when I checked in, so I was not pleased that after a 4 hour […] drive and ready to go to my room I had to wait 20 minutes before they decided they would not be able to check me in but would give me a room key. I told them to call when they were ready for me to check in but that if I called them that I was going to bed they would have to wait til morning. They called me 40 minutes after I called them and told them I was going to bed. So i had to get ready to go back up to the front desk. They were friendly people. It wasn't dirty,but it wasn't clean either. Never saw a clerk at the desk except at check in. Breakfast was very disappointing and didn't look like they bothered to clean up after people. Hairdryer didn't work and a bug crawled out when pulled off the holder. In all not somewhere I would stay at again.

When booking a hotel i'll always use Hotels.com's customer review score, and find somewhere with at least a 4/5 rating. I booked this hotel after reading a few reviews on the website. We often travel from Des Moines to Omaha for a long weekend in town, visiting the zoo and going to our favourite restaurants. It's my responsibility each time to book […] a hotel room for the family. We've had some bad experiences at some very nice (and far more expensive hotels), like the double tree on 72nd (great hotel, sadly parents let their children run amouk throughout the hotel). I booked the room, and while travelling to omaha we stopped and i used my phone to get directions for the hotel. I know my way around Omaha, but some reviews mentioned it wasn't easy to find (not too bad with the use of the gps function on my phone). While getting redirections i saw some reviews posted on google for the hotel, none of the reviews were very nice about the hotel so it worried me on how bad it would be. When we got to the hotel we had to wait for the front desk person who i passed having a cigarette break out front. When he did finally come back inside he said very little other than to ask for my driving licence and give pass me the room keys. Walking thru the hotel, it was clearly dated, not very clean and in need of some repair. When we got to the room there was a musky smell. The room had not been cleaned very well, the carpet had chips and toilet paper on it. The bathtub was extremely dirty, and broken, and my wife found a couple of cockroaches living in the bathtub. Turning on the TV brought me back to my youth when i only had a b/w tv with an indoor antenna, and very poor reception, only i couldn't move the antenna to try to get a better picture. The AC unit looked like it was original to the hotel, was extremely dirty, caused an ever bigger smell than the room already had, and was extremely noisy, so much so that it would wake me every 15 minutes when it turned on. When we arrived they were very busy checking people in but found our room had a very musty, mildew, moldy smell. The room was clean, the a/c was not pulling the humidity out of the air. The next morning at 8:15am-my husband went to the manager to check on getting a different room because of the smell. The manager said they were already booked-up for […] the night at 8:15 in the morning! I have COPD and really did NOT appreciate the fact that the manager had already gotten my money 10 days prior to our arrival and did not want to accommodate us. Upon arrival at the hotel, at first the clerk could not find my reservation even with my confirmation code. When we got to the room, we a couple dead bugs in the room, trash under the bed, the fabric on the chair was terribly soiled. The bed felt as if we were sleeping in a hole. When we asked the clerk for a couple extra pillows, he scoffed at us, and acted like we were disturbing him to go out of his way. For what we paid for the weekend, we weren't expecting the Ritz, but I was expecting decency. We feel like we paid to much for this hotel and service. Took the clerk about 20 minutes to figure out my reservation, then when I got to my room it was a furnace. The A/C was turned off on a hot day. It took about 4 hours for it to cool down. We had to leave for a while because it was so hot. Everything else was ok.

The bed was terrible. I didn't sleep all night because of back pain. The mattress was in bad shape and needed replaced. The bedspread had cigarette burns and turns all over it. This was a last minute reservation on an extended driving trip to the mountains, and, although the king bed was, well, a king bed, it was nearing it's replacement date, I hope. The breakfast was a complete disaster, with a coffee machine that would spit coffee concentrate, then fill the cup with hot water, not coming close to a proper mix. Well I know for the price I paid I was not going to expect too much. However that is a bit of an understatement. This hotel should prob be shut down. It is extremely outdated. The smell was so bad. The pool was working but way to much chemicals were used in it. My sons and my eyes burned for the whole night. The Bedding was not washed. Also no one ever […] cleaned our room. Someone came in during our stay and made only one of the beds. The table was broken. They had wireless service but was really slow. I arrived expecting a bare-minimum, place to sleep... not sure we got even that. Price was our main driver as we were arriving after midnight and would be leaving by 8 am. At a minimum, the room should be clean... however, the carpet felt damp (humidity? I hope) and the bathroom was in need of a big scrub down. I would also not count on eating the continental […] breakfast (seriously, what could go wrong with donuts and danish?)... we opted for the diner nearby instead. Call me picky but I would also appreciate some way to tell the staff apart from the guests... dirty jeans and t-shirt just don't suffice. Breakfast was not eatible. They only had toast and waffes.
