"not like other wyndham suites"
The room was very small. Couldn't barely fit a child and parent in the bathroom at the same time. This room was nothing like the other Wyndham suites in Omaha. No pull out couch, no hot breakfast. Breakfast was granola bars and bottled juice placed by the entrance of the hotel. Also the 2 desk people were away when we checked in and we had to wait about […] 15 minutes. They didn't take the phone with them when they left the front desk and they looked disheveled when they came to the desk. I think they were doing some "inappropriate stuff" on work time. "Old apartment complex?"
I just needed a cheap night stay to fly out of the Omaha airport early next morning. The staff was very friendly and helpful but the building was old and looked like a converted apartment complex. The hallway had a strange odor and there were loose hair on the bed. Whole place looked very old and have not had anything replaced or updated for many years. "Just ok..."
It was better than motel 6... Lady that checked us in was nice but no one at the counter several times after that. Rather frustrating. "Overal: Nice"
The overall stay was nice. Location was in a nice area, close to the expressway and main roads. The hotel was clean and the accommodations were standard. The nice added touches like the studio suite set up,? cupboard, and laundry room gave off a " home away from home" feel. The customer service was pleasant but didn't seem to communicate well internally […] which caused unnecessary frustration. It seems best not to change any aspects of the initial reservations or you just may have to keep reiterating the change due to the communication gaps. My stay would have been great otherwise. "Cheap price vs service/location - your choice"
Surprised to learn @ check-in that housekeeping only once/week so since our stay was 3 nights.....If clean towels or linens are wanted, can exchange dirty ones at the desk! Location is near interstate but very well hidden by new construction, office buildings & confusing roads. Nothing within walking distance, especially at night - rather deserted area. If you are coming from the east to get there, please check road construction first. The road we were to take was closed so we had to double back around, taking an additional hour to arrive. The neighborhood is questionable. We were two girls traveling alone and would not have felt safe in the dark. The room and hotel were in fair shape overall. Reasonable price for the accommodations. The beds are small but comfortable. Service at the desk was great. My major complaint was cleanliness. "Needs renovation"
For the price we got this hotel room, I wasn't completely surprised that the hotel needed some work. I guess you get what you pay for. The door to our room had a huge gap all around it which let in a ton of light. It was like having a night light in our room. It was very handy to have a kitchen because we brought some leftovers back from a restaurant […] we were able to eat later because of the refrigerator and silverware provided.
