The hotel itself was nice and quaint. Front desk staff were very accommodating. Overall, a great place to stay for the money. This hotel is officially in Grand Prarie just north of Arlington and Six Flags, so don't get it confused with the other Hyatt actually in Arlington. We were in Arlington with another famiy for a Rangers ballgame, and chose the Hyatt based on price and location. We were very pleased, and will definitely stay there again. Super friendly staff, clean rooms, comfy beds and pillows. Only negative was the continental breakfast was small and crowded, but that's not a big issue. "Very clean, close to sites"
We stayed here while attending the 2011 Cotton Bowl at "JerryWorld." The front desk arranged a limo for us to take to the game, so that worked very well. Rooms were new and clean. Beds were comfy. "Kids Getaway at Six Flags"
I traveled with a friend, my 2 kids and her 3 kids for an impromptu Labor Day weekend getaway at Six Flags. It was great to have adjoining rooms so the kids could go back and forth as they wished. The rooms are huge with nice beds, a pull-out couch, fridge, desk, granite counter space. It was a little difficult to get to just because the roads are […] confusing in the area. My room had a slightly funny odor, but I sprayed some fragrance I had and it didn't bother me again. Also the toilet handle and light weren't functioning properly in the bathroom, but they did work. The hotel free shuttle to and from Six Flags was great and saved on parking costs. The free breakfast was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean. Liked the Hyatt - nice hotel, great location - very cool and contemporary rooms. A couple of drawbacks: The free breakfast - VERY skimpy. They have all kinds of good stuff, you just have to pay for most of it. Also, the bathrooms are TINY - have to squeeze out of the shower & skirt the toilet to get out & dry off.
