"Hyartt Arlington/Grand Prarie in Texas"
I was very happy with the staff at the Hyatt. Unfortunately the first night I arrived at the hotel it was about 10pm. The room we were assigned had issues with the air conditioner. If was not blowing sufficiently to cool the room and the air that was blowing was not very cool. I called the host and asked if there was another room. No other rooms left, […] but the host did bring a fan to help. In the morning we requested and were assigned to new room. The room was confortable but after several days an oder seemed to be coming from the air conditioner. The oder seemed to be a smell of mold. We were then assigned another room. We were happy with the room, but two days later I was told that the carpets were to be cleaned on the floor I was on. My choices were, I could stay in same room but would have to contend with damp carpet or change rooms. I opted to change rooms again and again I was very happy with the new room. I have to say that the staff made alot of effort to make my stay comfortable as they could. Chris and Jeff were both as helpful as could be. Air conditioner is old wall unit. It broke but was fixed when I complained. Refrig wouldn't keep anything cold. No vending machines. Location was very confusing to find even for GPS. As with every Hyatt Place I have stayed in, it was comfortable, safe, clean and business-oriented. This one was extra quiet. And it actually smelled particularly good and fresh for some reason. The only oddity was the wierd tiny 6" glass shower door that barely cleared the toilet so you could sidle by , not for a big person!
