My boyfriend and I stayed for two nights in a superior king room. the decoration was very ikea feng shui, which I really liked. The room was very well lit and had a nice private balcony. We are smokers and they accommodated us by bring ashtrays to our room for the balcony. They even let us smoke by the pool as long as we were respectful of other guests. […] We requested a microwave that they delivered for free. Maintenance came up immediately and fixed, within five minutes, the somewhat temperamental toilet issue we had. We loved this hotel. Very clean and great service. This hotel is beautiful. Amazing service, great beds, really nice. Except for a few important things. You have to go on a treasure hunt to find the ice machine. And when I did find it, it was broken. The hotel is very beautiful and the staff is so friendly and helpful. Are first room had a bed that was hard as a rock. I told the front desk and they switched us to a room with a sleep number bed. It was a better night sleep then I get at home. I will definitely be staying at this hotel whenever we come into town.

Very clean and well maintained. Comfortable bed and thoughtful finishing touches. Biggest problem was the noise in the morning. Our room was above kitchen and by 6:00am we were awakened by a lot of noise from hall and kitchen. Enough noise so we would not stay again. Which is unfortunate because the hotel is beautiful, clean and comfortable.

My favorite hotel on our trip...better than the "R" hotel which was great... excellent service, location, amenities, room service, etc... I highly recommend for ALL the reasons possible!

They were unable to replace our broken jacuzzi (or get us a new room) on the first night, but helped us switch to a different jacuzzi ready suite the second night. All in all good experience! Great design. Decent area, but close to MV which has more to offer.

Domain reminds me of the hotels located in NYC, only more spacious and cost 50% less. The staff is capable and friendly. Free sheltered parking available. Breakfast is served in the lobby area. Everything was great except for the fact that they were doing water maintenance on the building the following morning so no water. Not a problem except for the fact that they didn't mention this to us at checkin. They just gave us a folded piece of paper with some other stuff. We'd be more keen to read it if you had mentioned it....and that's a big […] thing you should tell your guests! But everything else was great and no complaints. Only stayed one night so didn't check out their dining services or anything outside of our room. Lots of ethnic restaraunts around and it was fairly close to the Shoreline Amphitheatre, and Highway 101. Read more

This is a "boutique hotel" which means it contains unorthodox wallpaper and a lot of oddly placed halogen spotlights. If that is important to you, you will love this hotel. If you want a good night's sleep, this is not the place to stay. The walls are paper-thin and the floors seem to be made of little but carpet. Between the TV in our neighbor's room […] and the ceiling creaking loudly whenever the guy in the room above moved in his bed I got at most two hours of sleep. To their credit, the hotel staff promptly got the guy next door to turn off his TV when I asked them. But I couldn't very well ask them to get the guy above to stop moving. Which is terrible. You don't get any sunlight in the room. That said, other aspects of this hotel are excellent for the price. They do have rooms that face outside, so next time I stay there I'll definitely ask for one of those rooms.
