I didnt expect a 4 star hotel but I certainly did not expect to have to deal with syringes outside my hotel room door.

Threadbare public areas, declining into outright, shabby, down grade to a 1+ star level appropriate for a tired, worn out edifice. Major connectivity problems with the internet, chipped sinks, soap and body lotion but no bath gel or shampoo or conditioner. I was satisfied with my stay at the Econolodge. It is older but had new carpet and paint. The sink in my room was stained but it was otherwise in good shape. The breakfast consisted of a waffle maker, english muffins and bread that you could toast, coffee and oj. Not bad for the price. I wish I could comment on the bed but I can sleep on anything so […] the fact that I slept fine won't be useful to someone with a bad back. The pillows on the bed were of varying sizes which is not a good sign. This is the third place that I have stayed in Kelso/Longview within a month. I was in the area on business.
