The staff was helpful and friendly. The cleaniest of the room was good because I didn't see the previous guest hair in the bathroom when I checked in my room!!! There were nlots of restaraunts and shopping nearly, but it was a little far from our hub (the STAR soccer complexes). The room was clean and the breakfast is great! Though be aware that there is no real "front desk" and so you sometimes are looking around for staff to ask questions of.

Great hotel, especially for the price. Clean. Only issues I had is the TV cut in and out w/ audio occasionally, and the shower head had a ton of hard water build up so some of the holes didn't even spray water. Minor things to most, but I spend lots of time in hotels so it was something I noticed.

The air conditioner was VERY loud and kept me up for two nights. Even when I turned the unit off, it would automatically turn on twice throughout the evening for several minutes at a time. Stayed here for 4 days . Friday and Saturday the place was a party (literally). From 3-4 AM the bachelor party being held in the hotel moved to outside the pool and RIGHT underneath our room. Then on Saturday, they again had a party booked and all I could hear was the bass coming through the floor (we were on the 2nd floor). The room we were […] taken by when we first walked in, and the bed was so comfortable that either my husband or I woke up during the night. the morning was also a great day, as for my husband is usually one of those hard ones to please when we go out and he was so happy with the morning breakfast, as for they were there taking the empty plate from us and making sure that everything is okay and they were right there cleaning off the table for someone else as for they had plenty of seating for alot of people with the option of seating outside also. Our recent experience was good. We had nice b/f in the morning. I liked coffee there. The things I didn't like there were 1. A/C was making noise.. its not too unusual but not silent. 2. Pool water is all salty. My kids like swimming, but couldn't take them to the pool second time. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The room had an odor and the closet door wouldn't open. We tried to contact the front desk to make them aware but the phone didn't work. I went to the front desk to make the staff aware and maintenance did repair the closet door and phone. However, we had to sit around until these items were repaired.

Great stay! The girlfriend and I just wanted a quick weekend getaway and the Hyatt Place was perfect. We've stayed downtown before at much more expensive hotels, but the value of the Hyatt Place at Stone Oak was superb and there is so much to do in the area. The room was clean and my girlfriend loved the glass sliding door shower and separate sleeping […] and sitting areas. Overall we had a great experience and to top it off, the breakfast in the morning was excellent. The only disappointment was that there was not french toast or waffles on the morning of our stay as stated in the brochure. Also, they should have a microwave to heat up the pancakes. However, there were hot breakfast sandwiches that were delicious. Also, the pool area does not have a hot tub so that is a little bummer. We stayed here for 3 nights and also booked a room for a friend's family for one night. Have to say the hotel looks new and modern. But the service is not up to the Hyatt we thought it should be. When we checked in at around 4:30pm, we were told room is not finished cleaning yet, we have to wait for about 30 min. to get a cleaned room; then first night […] at about 11pm, we found there is no blanket in our room for the sofa bed, so I called front desk to ask for it, the answer I got was: "I do not have staff available to send it, you can come downstairs to get it." For the complimentary breakfast part, honestly, I do not see much choices, no scrabbled eggs, no sausages, bacons or other basic hotel full breakfast items. Their breakfast only opens till 10am on weekend and 9am on weekdays, once the time is up, everything took away including even orange juice. And as the hotel guests we were never reminded that there are different servicing time for breakfast between weekdays and weekends. The hotel location is so so but the construction site around the corner is causing heavy traffic jam during our first night, a 200-yard left turn took us almost 30 min. Read more

Great hotel, big rooms, new and clean. There are many restaurants near the hotel. Everything you need is within a 5 min. drive. The staff were awesome. My family was allowed a late checkout at 2pm, I've never been offered anything later than 12 noon elsewhere.

Everything was great about this Hotel but a couple of things. One the a.c. To the pool room was not working and it was very hot in there. Two, breakfast ends too early. We were told 10a.m. During the wk and we went down at 9:05 a.m. And breakfast time was over, they didn't even care to offer a muffin or any left overs if we would like of.
