Overall, the hotel was pretty nice. It was towards the end of the river walk, so getting to the majority of the restaurants wass a little walk, but not too bad. We had a room on the 19th floor that overlooked portions of the city but had a ton of road/ambulance noise. "Parking a Nightmare, But Great Hotel"
Hotel is right on the riverwalk, next to the convention center. Rooms are great, though the AC is a bit on the weak side. While the room rate is excellent, expect to be nickel-and-dimed on all the amenities one comes to expect from other hotels, from wireless internet to parking. Parking for one night's stay came to $22 for me, and finding a spot was […] not easy, because the garage is shared between hotel guests and convention center attendees. Getting in and out of the garage was a nightmare - it took me half an hour with just four cars in front of me in line. The exit is a traffic light at a poorly-designed intersection. We were having to wait three full cycles before we could even get out because if we left when the light turned green (and stayed green for about 2 seconds) then we'd be stuck in the middle of the intersection. And this was at 7pm Sunday night - not a peak traffic hour. "A night on tye river walk"
My girlfriend and I stayed here one night to enjoy the river walk on a 5 day roadtrip around the San Antonio & Hill Country area. The hotel was nice. Parking was rediculous ($45 valet and $30 self park) WiFi was not free.....really? "A comfortable and quiet escape"

This was the first time I have check into a hotel and when we got in the room the pillows were in a chair stacked up. The following day they made no attempts to cleaning the room and left the used towels there. The only way I knew they came in was there were new towels in the bathroom.
