"Housekeeping Staff overwhelmed!!"
Our parties arrived on two separate days & stayed in a total of 3 rooms. NONE of the rooms were ever available at check in time. My microwave was filthy. The ironing board in another room was in pieces. I left an item when we checked out (yes, I know this was my fault), but I called numerous times, was always told someone would call me back & they never […] did. After the fourth or fifth phone call I was told they couldn't find it. Yes, it is less exspensive than area motels, but there's a reason it is!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"HARD BEDS!"
I really wanted to love this hotel! The location and price were great! The breakfast was good. The staff was very helpful, the playground was wonderful and my girls loved the heated pool! However, these were the hardest beds I have ever slept on! My body actually ached all night and the next day. The bathroom light switch was on the outside of the bathroom. […] This meant that at night, you had to turn the light on and then close the door which disturbed the others in your room. It had the loudest commode that I’ve ever heard, and the sink wasn’t in the bathroom, but in the bedroom, which again disturbed others at night. You could easily hear conversations from the hall and the rooms on both sides, and walking from the room above. The closet was small – not even as wide as my shoulders, and the pillows were these hard little squares. Again, I really wanted to love this hotel because of the location and price, but because of the beds and bathroom we won’t be staying here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The regular price for this hotel was 108/nt, so when we saw it on sale for $47 we thought it'd be a major steal! What a mistake! The hotel was way out of way and the room was very small and seemed dirty. Upon walking into the room, our a/c unit was detached from the wall and we could see outside, they fixed it immediately, so that was good! The walls […] and door to the room were dirty, not to mention the size of the bathroom and look of the tub! Plus guests actually had the windows to their rooms open ( I thought hotels rooms couldn't do this for safety purposes???) it felt like we stayed at a motel! Granted for the price we paid it was ok, but being that it was "on sale" and the reg price was over 108... It was a major disappointment! Will never stay at a quality inn again! "Not as advertised"
The hotel is in a bit of an odd location, not really near any big attractions that I saw. They don't have a manager's reception as advertised, and they don't generally give popcorn and cookies to guests as was stated on the hotels own website. The fitness room is open odd hours; the book of hotel information in the room stated the hours as 9am to 9pm, […] but the sign on the fitness room actually said it was open 9am to 10pm. The treadmill was broken; an ice cream vending machine was out of order as well. Also, there were oddly placed trash cans between every room on one side of the hall on the first floor. I'm not sure why they needed so many there, and it didn't make the hallway feel cleaner--rather, I thought it was kind of gross to think of trash all the way down the hall. There was also a washcloth outside one of the first rooms in the hall that wasn't picked up for at least 18 hours. Then, there's an envelope in the room suggesting you leave a tip for the housekeeper. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Quality Inn/Oxymoron"
The floor we stayed on smelled terrible from the time we left the elevator. It was a mixture of wet mildew, BO, and something. The towels felt like sandpaper and were crusty. The comforter on the bed had a big bleach stain on it, but was still in circulation. The breakfast in the lobby was the best thing about the stay. There was a very impressive door […] that had been sawed off, left hanging and a vent attached to it for some kind of hillybilly fix, just next to the elevator. Probably won't book with Quality again. Its kind of a oxymoron. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
They had construction going on. We had the first floor and the first day we arrived we had planned to rest for our next day trip to Fiesta Texas. No such luck we heard nothing but banging, stomping on the floor. I informed front desk and they said they would be finished shortly and the workers didnt stop till after 5pm and we checked in at 3pm. Also […] the shower head was not working water would splatter everywhere. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Don't stay here!"
The hotel lacked cleanliness and smelled of mold. Poor quality towels. The rooms were not very clean either! I would have happily paid a little more for a cleaner room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
