The hotel was very convenient due to its proximity to the interstate. We checked in after 10 at night and the front desk personnel was very friendly and helpful. This is the second time we've stayed at this hotel. It is very convenient to get there from the freeway. We like that we can do a load of laundry before traveling on. The breakfast was average. "Not the Best, not the worst."
There were noises in the ceiling of the bathroom around the vent fan when it wasn't running. It was loud when it was running. For me, the bed was too stiff. My wife liked it though. "A place to get some rest."
Overall the hotel was nothing spectacular, it was a nice, fairly clean room and the staff was friendly and courteous. The AC unit would not settle on a temperature, it would get hot in the room, then cold, and start all over again. "leaking"
Had a leak in the bathroom, the tub leaked all over the floor and got my clean clothing all we. Went down to the front desk to report the problem, they took my clothes and put them in their dryer. "Nice hotel, convenient to nothing..."
This hotel was very nice, and the staff was wonderful. However, we chose this hotel because it was convenient to the interstate and we simply needed a place to stay for a night while we drove across country from California to Florida. Getting to the hotel was odd, as you had to get off the interstate at one exit, and then essentially turn around and […] go back to the hotel in the direction you had just come from. As we were driving, we noticed a few fast food places that were around. However, our hotel was on a one way street. To get to all of the gas stations and fast food places around, we had to get on the one way road, hop back on the interstate in one direction or another. And returning to the hotel was kind of a pain as well. And when we got up the next morning, we were heading east bound. We had to go at least a mile up the road heading west bound before we could turn around and get on I-10 east bound. So while the staff is very nice and friendly, the hotel is not convenient to anything. However, if you are traveling with pets, stay here. They accept pets with no deposit or extra charge. I called the hotel to try and get a king because online I was only able to book 2 queens. The lady I spoke to was great. She was sweet and gave us the only king available which was a handicap accessible room. The room was HUGE! "La Quinta charges you in addition to expedia"
The hotel was too expensive for the price. I've stayed in 4 star hotels for the same amount. There were no amneties, no central air. My room was not cleaned for my second nights stay. Also La Quinta charged me the full two nights stay in addition to Expedia. I asked the girl at the counter when I gave her my card how much was to be held on my card and […] she said she didn't know. Then the next day when I find out they charged the equivalent of the stay, they told me that it would take 14 BUSINESS days, so 3 weeks for that charge to be refunded!!!
