The family-friendly Hilton San Antonio Hill Country Hotel & Spa is an official SeaWorld hotel just 1 mile from the theme park. The Six Flags Fiesta Texas amusement park is 14 miles away.
Hotel Features.
The hotel lobby reflects ranch-style chic décor with tooled leather sofas, flagstone and hardwood floors, beamed ceilings and a two-story limestone fireplace. Two killer-whale fin sculptures, symbols of SeaWorld's marine life, flank the lobby entrance. Dining venues include the Hill Country Bar, which affords views of the courtyard through glass walls. The bar serves South Texan cuisine and hosts jazz performances. SunSpot serves American-style breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Hill Country Spa has six treatment rooms, steam rooms and Vichy showers, while the Paul Mitchell Salon offers hair, nail, and beauty services. A complimentary fitness center contains free weights and cardiovascular and strength-training equipment. Outdoor recreational amenities include a lap pool, a zero-entry children's pool, and a lagoon-shaped pool with a cascading waterfall. Business travelers will appreciate the hotel's 10,000 square feet of meeting space across 15 function rooms and halls. The hotel has complimentary self-parking.
Guestrooms.
This 6-story resort offers 227 ranch-style guestrooms. Beds feature hammered-wood headboards and wrought-iron tables and lamps. All rooms feature Hilton Serenity beds. Rooms are equipped with 32-inch LCD HD televisions and multi-line phones with voice mail. Bathrooms feature jetted tubs and are crafted with marble vanities and stocked with Peter Thomas Roth toiletries. Refrigerators are standard amenities in suites, but otherwise available on request for a fee. Wired and wireless Internet access is available in all rooms for a fee. Rollaway beds are available (surcharge).

"Quick Getaway"
The hotel is beautiful and a great value. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with our 3 children and it was perfect. The only thing that seemed to be a problem across the board was the Food and Beverage service through out the hotel. The morning buffet was what you would expect accept for the fact that the warming plates didn't keep the food warm, for our […] entire breakfast 30 minutes- pancakes were never available and other foods had to be requested for replenishment. Dinner that night was good but french onion soup had to be sent back because the bread on top was so stale you could not cut it with a knife and the children's Alfredo returned because it was covered in black pepper making it too spicy for children. Room service for breakfast - 2 place settings sent for a family of 5, one single serving of syrup sent when we ordered 3 orders of pancakes and the additional sides left off order. Hilton was very quick to apologize for the problems but it just was a bummer to keep having a problem at every meal. Close to Sea World, the shuttle and pools are really the only thing great about this hotel. Plan to pay extra for everything many hotels offer like breakfast, WiFi, and a fridge. The room door had a 1/2 inch open space at the bottom which provided light going through during the night. We stayed at the Hilton while attending nearby wedding festivities at the nearby Hyatt Resort. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive. Room was clean, ready on time, had appropriate toiletries, and was big enough. Complaints: no wifi in the room (does it really cost that much to extend the lobby wifi to the rooms?), no free breakfast […] or even coffee, and the noise level was AWFUL. We enjoyed our stay, however there were a few issues. First, no minifridge in the room without paying for one, daily. Never in all my travels have I encountered this. More importantly, there was at least one towel in the room that was stained with what appeared to be blood. "Sea World trip with Grandkids"
It was nice being so close to the park. The shuttle service was very convenient. Loved how dark the rooms are for sleeping. The kids slept later than usual which we really appreciated. It was very convienient to Sea World and nice that they offer complimentary shuttle to Sea World. I don't think it is right that they charge $9.95 per night for internet service in your room and they also charge for local calls. The hotel is very conveniently located right across the highway from SeaWorld and they offer a complimentary shuttle to and from SeaWorld.
