"Try a different hotel"
We stayed here one night. The hotel seemed to be completely booked. We were made to wait a long while to check-in, be seated at the restaurant, be waited on and then again during check-out. I am accustom to waiting 5 min or so but we were in excess of that everywhere. This hotel needs more staff. "concerned about their needs - not yours"
Valet drivers standing around smoking and checking e-mails on cell phones. No hot water in our room, only warm water. Ice machine broken. Call front desk and put on hold, never did come back off hold, etc.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This is not a Four Star quality hotel. Make sure you do not stay when they are so busy its very difficult to get anything. The Valet guys were over run with vehicles it took forever to get the car. "not worth the money"
well for the price and location then to be charged for everything.that most offer for free is bad..i was charged just so i could get a print out of my reservation cause they couldnt find it. iv never stayed any where that didnt have free coffee in the loby in the mornings...just very disapointed..there was just so many other places to have stayed and […] if we are ever there again we wont stay at the Westin. and i dont know about the parking for other hotels but 30 dollars a night is a little high to me to have your car parked....here is the receipt for the internet service. "Westin Riverwalk"
Our stay at Westin was very average. The staff was above average, but the Hotel itself needs attention. The entrance and foyer were beautiful but our room was another story. The carpet was dirty, the shower had mold and the location of our room 7th floor balcony was terrible. We were right next to a busy street so we could not use our balcony or open […] the door for air also the 7th floor looked directly into an office building.Quiet end of the Riverwalk means a long walk to the center of the action. With the price we paid I had higher expectations,as I stated the entrance was beautiful , restaurants were good, bar was good but expensive and the staff was very professional but the rooms and location another story.No free internet service in rooms there is a charge for that, they do have a business center that you could get your boarding passes no charge but you pay for internet service.. "Never again"

"Totally Disappointed"
Ultimate disappointment. Requested and paid for king room, rec'd double. Was late and we were tired, did not request change. Comforter was filthy underneath side, blood and spills, they just flipped it over...for a 4 star this should not happen. New clean comforters every time they change bedding. Telephone was not working properly, blinking red light […] all night long, desk top was filthy. Wiped down with hot white wash cloth which turned brown. Lamp on desk did not work, had to call maintenance. Why is there not a check list to make sure all of these things are taken care of before a guest arrives. Room service was superior as usual, thank goodness. At check out their was a back up of people and concierge was on the phone. I could not express my total disappointment in this visit. "Does not live up to the star rating"
I made the unfortunate mistake of staying at this hotel over the Thanksgiving vacation period. This is a time that you are looking for something special including your Thanksgiving dinner. The Thanksgiving meal was served cold and when this was pointed out the meals were taken away reheated and reserved with the usual consequences on the food. The meal […] itself was a sparse portion of vegetables with a very small portion of turkey sitting on a lump of stuffing. Worst meal. This was not a single occurrence of this issue as the previous evening we ordered bar food which was served cold (meant to be hot) The room was adequate but nothing special The staff apologize a lot for poor service but the poor service appears to continue, a better approach would be to resolve the issue and improve the service. "Room with Not a view"
One of the big reason I chose this hotel was to enjoy the River Front view from the hotel room. I was disappointed that I was given a room that was at the rear of the hotel and all you could see was the parking garage.
