I was not so sure about staying here....but actually it was not too bad. The location is perfect less than 5 minutes driving distance to downtown. I went when business was was off peak so I got a great rate. Room was clean front desk clerk was great, did not try the breakfast though it was offered free. "cheaper than hotels downtown"
This hotel was alright. My husband and I needed a place to stay in San Antonio for the night. Little did we know Fiesta was going on, the whole town was over crowded! Our room was nice and pretty clean. The bed and shower had a few strands of hair lying around and the sheets had this rust spots on them. "Convenient location for me"
I was visiting a friend at a nearby University, so it was very easy to travel between this Hotel and there. Also, the space was not at all small. It was accommodating, and the clerk was pretty cool. "Definitely not a do-over!"
Though this hotel was convenient to downtown San Antonio, I wouldn't stay there again. The room was less than desirable. You have to get iron and ironing board from the front desk and at least in our room, there was no remote to the TV. To top it off, Saturday morning we left our room for the day expecting room service only to return and fond our room […] had NOT been touched. The used towels were still in a pile and the trash cans had not been emptied. I know there are places that are worse, but I didn't expect it to be what we encountered. The positive was the the front desk clerks! They were very nice. The hotel needs updating. I think it would a nice place if a little more care was put into it simply because of it's location. "Dirty, Old, Scary! Must be Haunted! Dont Stay here"
First off the Hotel had a funky smell. Waiting in the Elevator it was super hot. No A/c. The place looked like we where the only ones staying there. Creapy noise we heard, staff was creepy. Black cat inside the building! That was scary. My brother forgot his money in the room he went back up and found a small red ball in the center of the room with […] the number 3 on it. Freaky! We left the lights off when we left the room when we got back the room lights where on. Never will stay at this place again. have stayed at this hotel twice and no problems yet! its great how its only a 5 min drive from downtown. Tried the 3 queen suite this stay and the room was huge! perfect for all of our guests. "Great price & location"
We stayed in the standard room with a king size bed. The first thing I noticed was how big the room was!! I was a bit skeptical about booking this room at first because the price was so low and you usually get what you pay for. In this case, I got more than what I paid for! Breakfast was good. The elevator was slow at times, but who cares? I loved how […] close it was to the Riverwalk. The microwave and fridge were new and very clean. The bathroom was big and the water pressure was strong. I can't find anything wrong with this hotel. We forgot to take our stuff off the bed when we left during the day and housekeeping did the best they could to turn the bed, but they left a note explaining why they didn't finish. So sweet! "Say No to Antonian"
I stayed here because it was the closest hotel to downtown that was not sold out. The parking lot is VERY small and there is not nearly enough room to park all the guests. There is also no overflow area to park. Many had to double park in the parking lot. The toilets have the MEGA Power Flush system or something and are so loud it is unbelievable. You […] can here them all night long from all around you. There is no coffee pot in the room. The breakfast area in the lobby is filthy and strangely setup. There was trash piled everywhere by 9:00 am as there was not enough room to dispose of everything. You are better off staying another mile or two away at a decent name brand place. "Antonian Inn & Suites convenient and friendly"
The staff were friendly and helpful. They were willing and able to answer questions about how to get around the area. The fresh cooked breakfast in the morning was a great treat compared to the usual contiental or so called hot breakfast at other hotes. A great location for anyone wanting to be near the Riverwalk in San Antonio without paying downtown […] Riverwalk prices. Definitely a quaint and also a bit older hotel.
