Very very horrible. I don't know how Sheraton can be this horrible. We stayed here for 1 night and booked a queen bed room. So it was a bed with hardly any room to place the luggage. And the Bathroom...no place to turn around. You can sit or stand without even moving a step. The shower was yuck. the pot was disgusting. The hair dryer was broken. Every […] thing is bad except the bed was clean. Nothing other than this. If we would not be tired after a long trip, we would have walked out right away from the hotel. This place is way over priced for what you get. The location was great for walking around downtown but our room was small and the bathroom was cramped at best. The toilet was public restroom style, not classy at all. The hotel attendants were very nice and our stay was very pleasant but I expected more from the room we paid for.

This is one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever seen. At 104 years old it has been maintained to perfection. Very good location, we could walk everywhere. Wonderful service very helpful employees. thank you for making our weekend getaway so wonderful!

Great place for a getaway. Close to some great places on the River walk. Only issue was the shower. If you didn't make sure it was turned all the way off, it would randomly make a loud, shuddering noise before turning on. Freaked us out before we realized what happened.

It was very enjoyable, very close to the Riverwalk, which was a great plus. However, having to pay for parking when you already got a hotel room seems a bit much. The hotel has a nice feel, but you can definitely see its age in some spots. Other than that, very nice.

Good trip for me. Definitely would like to come back. I was allowed to check in early (about noon). Thanks for that but my room #817 had a dirty toilet (#2 skid marks) when I checked in. Talked to hotel clerk and she promised to send someone up. So we went downtown shopping for a few hours, came back later and toilet was still not cleaned. Elegant hotel. It is older and historic but nice. Rooms were clean and service was good. Had the buffet in the morning at the restaurant. The buffet was overpriced and not very good. Othen than that it was a very pleasant stay.

Everything is walking distance-loved the location!!! Room was a little hot; AC wouldn't get as cold as we would like... Rooms are Very small but if you only plan on needing a room to sleep in- its perfect. Staff also very friendly and helpful

A block from Riverwalk Entrance. Suggest inner room due to noise from streets. A complimentary pair of earplugs were in bathroom...hmmmm? Guests services did mention the noise from street; however, we wanted the view. We didnt realize it would be so noisy. Also, the heat in our room wouldn't work. We stayed there for our 13th anniversary. We have season tickets to the Majestic Theatre and we saw Fiddler on the Roof there over the weekend. It was neat just crossing the street and being back in our room! Fantastic hotel, really first rate.

This hotel is in an excellent location. The riverwalk And the Alamo are a short walk away. All the staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly. We even got an upgrade for free when we got there. That made up for the valet parking price. Don't use it! If you're staying mostly around the riverwalk and the Alamo there is no reason to pay for valet. […] The self parking is right across the street and I also saw they have a "daily parking" option at the hotel for half the price of the valet. I didn't use my car once and had to pay $28 a day for parking. Call me a sucker. The bathroom could use a slight upgrade. There was hair in ours and it wasn't as clean as I wouldve expected. But it was passable. The bed was amazing, so comfortable! And the pillows were amazing as well. Good tv channel options, more than I'm used to. We loved the Sheraton Gunter. We had reserved a deluxe king but were upgraded to the club floor when we arrived. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bedding very elegant. The lobby is beautiful and historic. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Location is perfect to go to the Majestic theatre or to get to the Riverwalk just a […] block away. We stayed here after Fiddler on The Roof at the Majestic and it was very convenient. It rained the whole day so it was nice to be able to eat and see the show and get to our hotel without getting drenched. Our only complaint was noisy neighbors down the hall well after midnight.
