The staff at the Sleep Inn were all very friendly. The rooms themselves could use some TLC - small things such a touch up painting where there are black scuff marks, clean of the air vent on the HVAC unit, scrubbing of the carpet and taking care of the caulk remnants in the bathroom. Also the HVAC unit was very noisy so I had a constant tug of war between […] keeping the room cool and having the room quiet enough to work and sleep in. Staff is fantastic! The front desk managers were very helpful. I had a concern about the first room and was changed quickly. I felt safe on the property. I appreciated having a mini fridge and microwave in my room but the room was a little wonky, bath area was small and had a pocket door, lighting was poor. Electric were not in the best areas for using […] my laptop, and I had to unplug the light on the desk to plug in the coffee maker. I felt that there had been a few short cuts to cleaning, the shower was OK, had mildew in crevices and corners, carpet could use hot water extraction, massage shower head was stuck on one setting,. The hotel hallway smelled like food, I didn't feel entirely safe, several lights in my room didn't work, and the parking lot is very dark. However, it IS a cheap stay, the breakfast was amazing, the bathroom was very nice, and the location was good.

Not the best hotel, but you get what you paid for, clean but a little maintenance is required. Lights were kind of tricky but besides that it was ok, just plain ok. Check out was at 11 am way too early for my taste. Later I found out that a 12 o'clock checkout was allowed but I found out too late.

The breakfast was nice, but inside needs help, our room was loud with lots of outside noise, including the people in the pool and the road noise. The room had a muggy feel to it and the carpets and sheets were damp. The a/c didn't cool properly. While in eating breakfast we heard others with the same problem or worse one person said their a/c fell out […] of the wall and into the room and ours appeared to be heading in that direction. The recent stay was ok. There were no bath towels and when I went to front desk to requested some I only got two. Then in the morning in the breakfast area did not have the adequate amount of food out for the amount of guests they had, so e where unable to eat there.

I have stayed at this hotel about 4 times and never had a problem, but this time I noticed that the AC was not cooling well, I asked the front desk to have someone come up and check it. They sent someone to come check it. He told me that it was working fine but that it need sometime to cool off. My room never did feel cool enough.

If you r looking for a cheap place to stay a couple of nights, that would be perfect. There was a few issues, 1. The address of the hotel was not recognized by the GPS system, we have to call the hotel and ask for direction. I explained this to the staff they gave me a new address to use, again the using new address next day to get back to the hotel […] the GPS took us somewhere different. The next day a different staff member gave as another different answer, this one was recognized by the GPS and we got to the hotel after cerebrating the new year eve in downtown san antonio. 2. Breakfast was not as good as the reviews by other people there was much not variety, everyday the same thing. 3. The blanket was old and it looks like it should be replaced, the bed makes noes when you roll around. the towels were rough, they r over used and the toilet paper was again rough.
