Embassy Suites San Antonio - International Airport

My family and I always stay at Hilton chains with the Embassy being one of our favorites. I loved everything about the hotel, especially their exceptional customer service!! They offered complimentary airport shuttle and anywhere within a 3 mile radius. The breakfast was very good and selective. They offered one of the best Jacuzzi's I think I've ever […] been in, however the chlorine was a bit much during my first few days there...They are also conveniently located next door to Enterprise Rental car in the case you wanted to rent a car to explore San Antonio....My hotel stay was affordable and I'm so glad that we chose to stay at that location and not the downtown location because it allowed us to have peaceful sleeps. I decided to stay at this particular hotel due to its close proximity to a testing center for professional licensing exam. I got there in less than 5 minutes. There were other hotels in the immediate area, but Embassy Suites provided the best option. I was not entirely satisfied with the breakfast buffet on the first morning of a 2-day stay. Great hotel close to the airport and North Star Mall. Good value as well. Breakfast was a very pleasant surprise. They actually have omelets to order!! We always stay at the Embassy Suits near the San Antonio Airport. The location is perfect; the 410, I-10, 281, North Star Mall, the Quarry, etc. The breakfast is always a great extra. This visit was exactly how I would want any hotel stay to go! Clean, comfortable, and quiet.

Their overall service was very satisfactory. They offered a variety of food during breakfast time and snacks and drinks in the afternoon all inclusive with the hotel rate. The rooms were big enough for more than two people including a TV set on the living area and bedroom as well. We will come back to this hotel on our next trip.

At the airport we call the hotel for the shuttle twise and it never came, when we arrived at the hotel one hour later the shuttle was parked outside.... terrible service there!!!

We had a two room suite for the family vacation. Our room on the seventh floor was spectacular compared to the rooms we paid much more for throughout our three week road trip. We checked in late. In the morning it became apparent that the bathroom had not really been cleaned. Dirty towels (not just one) were folded and put back. There was hair on the walls, "stuff" in the bathtub. When we compained the person at the front desk asked, "is there anything we can do?" Do they really have to ask?

Great hotel overall however, my son slept on the sofa bed in the living area and he heard a lot of noise at night. He was able to hear people up and down outside and didn't sleep very soundly. Otherwise, it's a great place to stay close to the airport.

The staff is wonderful. The room was so shabby, couch dirty, carpet had ground in gum, "whiteish" stains by one of the beds on the carpet, just shabby, needs redecorating or steam cleaning badly. I got there early afternoon and was too exhausted to go through the hassle of changing rooms. I presumed that all the rooms were the same, shabby, so why bother? […] It had such an "ick" factor that I was uncomfortable all night and was glad to leave in the morning. The owners of the Embassy should be ashamed of themselves, but glad that the staff is so wonderful and accomodating. My suggestion: Buy a steam cleaning carpet and upholstery system and use it. By the way, the toiletries are lovely, small but lovely. I always travel with a big bar of my own Dove soap anyway. Read more

We have a family of 6 and Embassy Suites is one of the few hotels that will rent 1 room to our tribe. We have stayed in many ES and this one was average. It is an old hotel that they have made an effort to update. Pros: The staff was friendly. The breakfast was good. Cons: Beds were uncomfortable, hotel may be updated but not the furniture. The tv […] in the bedroom had terrible picture quality and often no signal. The room furniture was mismatched and room 525 seemed to be where they put extra stuff. Breakfast was slow because they kept the bacon sausage and potatoes behind the omelet bar so everyone had to wait in line. The gift shop sold dental floss for $7. Not that I expect great gift shop prices but the lady at the desk would not floss for me which I expected at that price. Read more

I picked this hotel as it was close to the airport. Some of the rooms over look a major highway, but there was no noise in the room. There is a great work area, eventhough they charge you for wifi. Room was a nice size and had to TVs in each room. Very nice staff and breakfest. Be aware there are TWO Embassy Suites close to the airport.

We really enjoyed our stay there. The beds were comfortable and the free breakfast was awesome--eggs cooked to order, oatmeal, cereal, etc., anything you could want for breakfast. However, the rugs in our room needed to be shampooed. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would gladly stay there again.
