"Great economical downtown hotel"
I was very happy with the hotel, there is a microwave, coffee maker, mini fridge, laundry, a great continental breakfast and very friendly staff. I never stay in hotels - always individual cabins.. but I didn't mind the Ramada at all. The nice thing about the location is that it's at the end of Anchorage - water on one side; so you're not RIGHT in the center of downtown - unless you like that. I loved that I could walk to the stores, etc. I LOVED the free breakfast and that I could use the computer […] in the lobby any time. The staff is super nice and very accomodating - say hi to Ken when you get there. And they have their own parking lot right there. My stay was very very enjoyable and I would stay there again. * and they have a washer/dryer room.. Great staff from shuttle driver (free pick up at Airport) to the front desk. One night stay on our way to Denali and we picked the right place. After we retrieved our baggage at the airport, I called the Ramada for the free shuttle which was there in 20 minutes. The driver gave us a mini tour on the was back.
