This hotel is a great value. Nothing fancy, yet comfortable, quiet and clean. The hotel staff was helpful the entire stay and beds were great too. I'd absolutely stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"So nice - and convenient!"
Could not be more pleased with our recent stay at the Brookstone Lodge. Warm, inviting lobby, helpful, friendly staff. No, it’s not an Aspen resort, but it's fine with a ‘lodge’ style. Not old nor outdated nor worn out. COLD fridge, microwave, coffee maker & counter space. AC/Heater was under the window: was quiet & room never uncomfortable. We did […] use both heat & air. Flat screen TV on wall, dresser with 3 roomy drawers, also a chair, loveseat, coffee table, desk & chair in our 2 queen bed room. Roomy closet with wood hangers, ironing board. Bath has good counter space, dispensers of shampoo & bath wash (Dial, spring water) & hair dryer. Good shower pressure even though you could not change the ‘pattern.' Indoor pool comfortable. Hot tub jets strong, water hot and roomy enough for strangers to enjoy without being uncomfortable. Breakfast: yogurt, eggs, huge, juicy, sausage links, coffee, muffins, cereals, juices, milk, fresh made waffles. They opened a mtg room across the hall so no problem with finding a place to eat. Can’t think of anything negative. We missed our turn to Biltmore because we couldn’t believe it was so close! HIGHLY recommend this hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"A Nice Weekend"
The Brookstone is right off 40 as you enter Asheville so you won't get confused and lost looking for it. It's just down the road from the Biltmore so you can get in and out without using the map. The staff was great.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel, definitely going back!!"
Was in a great location, easy to get everywhere!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Short Overnight Trip"
My husband and I took a quick over night trip to Asheville. The hotel was easy to find & right off the interstate. About a 10 minute drive to downtown area to go eat. No problems with A/C or cleanliness of the rooms. (Except a big stain on the floor, looked like kook aid) Bathrooms were nice & updated. We were on the first floor and could hear everything […] in the hallways. No problems with hearing ppl above us though. The breakfast was simple & sweet. Staff was very nice & friendly. "Well worth the visit."
Hotel staff made the visit over the top with their care and assistance. Some road noise in end room 2nd floor easily overlooked by care of staff.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good for a night's rest"
The room was very nice and clean, it smelled good. The bathroom was nice, the only thing we didn't like was that the towels felt funny, I guess they don't use fabric softener. The bed was comfortable with nice linens. Breakfast was just okay-I would have liked a little more variety. I think the area around the hotel was really ugly. Absolutely no view […] of anything-but again, if you are only interested in a place to sleep, it was fine. Desk help not rude or anything but not overly friendly either. The housekeepers were super nice. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"No frills inexpensive hotel. great location"
My wife and I went to Asheville to see the Biltmore House and just relax for a few days. Brookstone Lodge is in a great location and was a nice clean fairly inexpensive option. We stayed on a end room, and it was pretty noisy though. It is definitely not a luxury hotel, but, for the price, the good outweighed the bad. I would stay there again if we […] go back to the Biltmore. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Great location, rooms very clean, and GREAT price! We will definitely be going back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"We loved it!"
Very clean hotel with friendly service. The shower was amazing. Will certainly stay there again if we visit Asheville again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient, clean & semi-comfortable"
The location was fantastic, everything was beautifully kept, the breakfast bar was very nice. Not your typical cold cereal & stale muffins, I was very impressed that they serve sausage, eggs & provide waffle makers & mix. The only downside was that the bed was a little stiff for our taste. It was a nice bed & in great shape, just a little hard for us. […] The HVAC worked really well, which was a nice plus, it wasn't too loud. The hotel was perfectly located, about 2 miles from the Biltmore but far enough outside of downtown that you could easily get in and out of the parking lot. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Very clean and very nice employees"
The rooms were very clean and modern. The staff was very nice and accomodating. Location was great although there wasn't much of a view but that didnt bother us. We will book here again in the future.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Newer, very clean, family-friendly hotel"
Enjoyed our stay here very much. Nice pool/hot tub area. Very family-friendly. Staff was friendly and prompt. Hot breakfast with many different choices. Price was good. Would definitely stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"nice place near Biltmore"
Very satisfied with the hotel; was not too expensive and was good quality. Location is on corner of 2 busy streets, but was convenient to get to Biltmore, downtown Asheville, or grocery store. Room was clean and spacious, bed was comfortable, bathroom was nice, large TV with microwave and refrigerator, and good quality continental breakfast. Lighting […] in room could have been a bit better, but would definitely stay again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Brookstone: nice and not too close to everything"
Our room was small but nice, looked newly updated. Flat screen tv, granite in the bathroom with bronze hardware, black mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker in room. Quiet location, not a lot of traffic- but no real view to speak of. Beds (2queens) were very firm, which I prefer, but my husband didn't. Down comforters and lots of pillows. We had a […] small couch and coffee table in our room which is always nice. Also a small writing desk with a comfy office chair. The closet was not in the usual place near the door, but near the window and was out of the way- more hotels should try this layout. We arrived a day early and the staff was very accommodating about getting us the extra night and not having to change rooms the next day (thank you Audry!). Tub is a liitle small and short, but fine for a shower. Toiletries were: breck shampoo, dial soap and a make-up removing toilette. In other words: bring your own! Didn't get up in time for breakfast, but what we saw looked pretty good. All-in-all a very nice stay in Asheville! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Great hotel, wonderful service and excellent hot complemetary breakfast. Seven min. drive from the Builtmore Estate and there is a Fun Depot just across the parking lot. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms and reasonable price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The staff was friendly, and helped us with getting around. The room was comfortable, but the enviromental unit did take getting use too. We liked the location and the breakfast was good. Not great but good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel staff was friendly, helpful, and the room was nice. We got a single and the room was small but cozy. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely recommend the Brookstone Lodge. The only thing we didn't really like about the hotel was the lack of restaurants/shopping areas within walking distance of the hotel, but you could just get in your […] car and drive less than 10 minutes straight to the Biltmore Village. Definitely recommend if you're on a budget, can't beat the value. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Worth the money!"
5 minutes drive to the gates of Biltmore and directly beside interstate. This place was very well kept and clean. We really enjoyed our stay. When we go back I will make sure to ask that I do not have the room next to the elevator. We didn't have that room and would hate to have it if they happened to put us there.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"super convenient Biltmore getaWay"
Staff was friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast and free WiFi made this a great value. Oh and don't forget the indoor pool and hottub . Only downside is that the beds were a little firm.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Really Nice Place"
This hotel was awesome. It was right off the highway and was very easy to spot. It was not surrounded by alot of noise so it made our sleep easy. I would definitely stay here again. The only negative was the breakfast. They could have offered a better selection of items. But other than that it was great.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel for a weekend vacation!"
Minutes from Biltmore & minutes from downtown make this hotels location very convenient! Rooms were very clean & spacious. Breakfast was very good! I would stay here again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The room was clean and comfortable and easy to get to from Biltmore. The bathroom especially was very new and well maintained. Breakfast had a good variety, except could have served more fresh fruit than just apples. Main disappointment was check-out, the clerk was on a personal phone call while taking care of us and just kind of shoved the paper at […] us to sign without saying a word to us. Very rude. I think he said he was an assistant manager to boot. Not a very nice way to treat your customers. Other than that it was fine, would recommend and would stay there again. "Easy to find and a satisfying getaway spot"
I booked this hotel HOPING that it was as nice as the pictures looked because I've been fooled before. You can see it as you're getting off the I-40 exit and check in is super easy. The hotel is only 2 years old and the furnishings are modern and new. The mattress was a little firm (but I know a lot of people prefer it that way). The jacuzzi was nice […] and hot and the breakfast was surprising because it was a complete meal instead of just waffles and coffee. Eggs, sausage, gravy biscuits, and the coffee is available all day. Room service was from the fun center behind the hotel and the wings were awesome, the pizza was good, and our "family pack" came with 4 20oz drinks it didn't even say were included! I have already recommended the hotel to a few people since returning home (earlier this week). And I plan on staying there again! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Minutes from Biltmore"
The hotel's location was perfect and the room was very comfortable. The hotel looks smaller in person than its website pictures would lead you to believe, but it is a fairly good size. "Excelent Value, be informed!"
For 3 min down the road from the biltmore this was GREAT! The beds were very comfortable, the pillows not so much, but that will teach me to foget my pillow on the front desk. BE Cautioned! There are nice king rooms with very lovely in rom tubs lots of fun for a nice couple on vacation with a fresh bottle of champagne from the estate. BUT, there are […] only maybe 8 of these rooms in the building, and while they rent out at the same rate as the normal king rooms, make sure you call and confirm before you arrive b/c otherwise you might not get the room you quite expected. Also, for a free breakfast it was nice. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel and close to Biltmore Estate"
The Brookstone Lodge looks to be a fairly new hotel. This review applies to room 303, which was the room my wife and I had. The front desk people are very friendly and check in and check out were quick and easy. The room was small but was nicely decorated and everything worked as it should. The room faced the road so there was some road noise but not […] too bad. The bed was firm but that's fine with us, the heat/cool unit was one of the most quiet of any place we've ever stayed. No other noises other than traffic noise was heard. The hot tub and pool (both indoors) are clean and very nice. Plenty of clean towels, too. Other than the room being on the small side, we enjoyed the stay. On longer than 1 night, we would probably get a bigger room or stay at a different hotel. Plenty of eating choices close by, also. we were very please with our stay. We stayed for two nights and after the first night housekeeping made our bed and gave us all clean towels and washcloths, which other hotels have not done in the past. Staff was very courteous. Free breakfast was good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Getting the Shaft"
After checking into our hotel room which we booked using this site, we found out that we had the WORST room in the hotel- located directly next to the only 2nd floor elevator. We were so bothered the entire time by listening the other guests enter/exit the floor without regard to our room. The breakfast was similar to Holiday Inn quality (edible, but […] the eggs are questionable) and the staff was polite and friendly. Would only recommend staying here if you're going to the Biltmore Estates. If you're planning to be more downtown-oriented stay closer because your cab ride will cost you $30-60 roundtrip (and there are no cabs in Asheville almost). Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Brookstone Lodge a Lucky Find"
The Lodge is right off of I-40 and another main road. I thought there might be traffic noise, but there was none--just great convenience to all the main sites, particularly Biltmore Village. Staff were friendly, and our double/queen room was just right. Beds were super comfortable; bathroom new, roomy, and clean; and we had a love-seat that offered […] a nice option to hanging out on the bed. The TV was viewable from anywhere in the room, and the microwave and fridge were a bonus. I think we would definitely stay here again on our next visit. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Staff was not very friendly, you can here noise and voices from other rooms in your room. Water pressure in shower is light. Would not stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Brookstone Lodge is A-OK~!"
Reasonably priced three-star hotel: *EXCELLENT location (just off I-40, minutes from downtown and the Blue Ridge Parkway); *VERY friendly service at front desk (with helpful maps); *TASTY free breakfast--hot and cold; *FREE wi-fi, although signal was spotty; *TINY exercise room, barely adequate with need for improvement; *COZY, clean, comfortable room, […] quiet despite nearby highway, with a decent shower. a great spot to when visiting the Asheville area convenient to all the attractionsGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The Brookstone was a very beautiful and inviting place to stay. Had a very "homey" feel to it, versus that of a normal sterile hotel chain. The room was warmly decorated and always smelled of spiced apples. "Great place to stay!"
My girlfriend and I stayed here for a long weekend getaway. It was great! It's convenient to downtown, about a five minute drive, and the staff is wonderful. The room was very nice, but the beds were rather hard. The pool and hot tub are indoors and also very nice. There wasn't anyone in them either time we went down, so that was cool. Very helpful and courteous staff. Clean rooms, pool and hot tub make this a great value! "Clean, Comfortable, Close"
This hotel is located near the Biltmore, but you have to drive there. You really need a car if you are staying at this hotel, but it's worth it. The highway is right there and a main road is as well. This hotel is very clean. Although it's fairly new, we saw a carpet cleaning service doing the hallway floors when we left. The room was very comfortable. […] Great beds. My only complaint would be that the AC wasn't blowing cold enough. The full breakfast in the a.m. was wonderful. It offered yogurt, eggs, waffles, a meat like sausage or bacon, cereal, muffins, oatmeal and more. It would be nice if they extended it till 10 a.m. because when you are on vacation, you like to sleep in more. I also liked that they offered coffee in the evening. The people at the hotel were very nice and accommodating. It's a very pretty hotel with local photography donning the walls. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"good central location"
this was a close drive to Biltmore, and downtown asheville. only a few miles to either. saved a lot of drive time. hotel looked almost new and very nice only down side was the walls seemed thin and we could hear the traffic from the highway and the people above us walking around.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

When in Asheville, I usually stay at the Marriott Renaissance for an annual business conference. As this was a personal visit, I could not afford the very high Renaissance room rate. I spent 3 days on the web, comparing hotels on all the hotel and travel websites. I chose Brookstone partly because it is independently/locally owned. The Renaissance […] has the advantage of having a huge indoor lap pool and being in walking distance of downtown Asheville. But otherwise, the Brookstone was as nice as or nicer than the Renaissance. Staff, especially housekeeping staff, were friendlier at Brookstone. There was a nice complimentary breakfast (with many options) offered everyday--no free breakfast at the Renaissance. Brookstone is just off I-40 in Asheville, very convenient to everything. At less than half the nightly rate of the Renaissance, Brookstone was a great deal. I could not have asked for better. Just a few minor quips: I would like to see some "natural" options at the breakfast (such as whole grain bread, for instance), and the bathrooms need better fans and longer shower curtains. But I will definitely return to Brookstone. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Nice, helpful staff. Very good breakfast. Located at the intersection of a busy street and an Interstate onramp, so outside rooms subject to loud traffic noise.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The Brookstone Lodge in Asheville is a great place to stay. The room was clean and well maintained (although we could not regulate the air very well...I am sure it was operator trouble though!). I found the room to be quiet and we never heard anyone on either side of us-did hear noise from the hall a couple of times. Elevators were never crowded and […] luggage carts were always available. The hot breakfast was great....sausages/eggs/waffle maker/cereal/juices/yogurt...usual other items....all very nice. There was an indoor pool only but it was sparkling clean. The hotel is on a dead exit-nothing was on it, not even a gas station, but stuff was within a very easy drive. Close to Biltmore too! I would stay here again! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
