The hotel is older, but the rooms were clean. The air conditioner is noisy, but it works and on hot summer days that is great. The hotel has an excellent buffet breakfast. It is the best variety I have seen. It offers hot food, such as bacon, eggs, potatoes, omelets, pancakes, as well as fresh fruit, pastries, cereal and juices. And to beat it all, […] it is free. The hotel is located close to downtown Asheville, just a left out of the lot and down Tunnel Road and through the tunnel and there you are downtown. For those who like to walk and visit shops and eateries, downtown Asheville is safe and friendly. Like any town they have their street people, but they seemed not to bother anyone. There are several parking garages around; most are $5 for the whole day. After you finish downtown, grab Hwy 25 to the Biltmore Village and the larger than life, Biltmore House.
