"Fitness room"
Most folks don't care about this, but we both work outevery day. We couldn't use this one at all. It smelled smokey. It had 3 pieces of equipment, which looked like they came from Wal-Mart. 2 were broken (no power cord on one). We left after one night. "dirty and old place"

"Comfortable bed but that was it"
This was a last minute book for a business trip where I was not expecting to have to spend the night. It was only available in area. Front desk was great. You enter room from outside. They had put pergo type flooring down over carpet but it had not been nailed down around edges or shoe molded around edges & the old carpet molding was still up. "Do not waste your money"
The heater slash ac would not stay at a constant temperature. Either hot or cold. Sketchy parking lot. Furniture all scratched. No fan in bathroom. Shower was warm at best. "Great Location- Not Clean"
Hotel was grat in location to Asheville Mall and Restaurants. HOwever- the parking lot area closest to my room was roped off for repairs but the safety tape had be removed so my child almost walked into it. The first room had an UNMADE BED- with dirty towels and smelled as though someone stayed there and it had not been cleaned. I immediately called […] the front desk and they quickly set me up another room. The walkway leading to the room was dark-not well lit for night time and felt very uncomfortable. The 2nd room there was no carpet but apparently it was hardwood due to a leak b'c the new floor was puckled. The bathroom was small but the new renovation to the walls was very nice-granite. The DOOR DID NOT LOCK- it would close and the safety chain would stay in place but the deadbolt lock didn't completely slide across. THIS MADE ME FEEL VERY unsafe as well. After waiting in line for another guest to have his issue resolved. I left. It was late and I was too tired to move again. The breakfast was great the next morning BUt I woldn't stay here again. "Didn't even spend the night :-("
The room was musty and unclean. Bugs and food were on the bed and lamps. Yes, there was food on the lamp. Called front office to request another room. Shown another room, no food, but couldn't stay. The hotel just needs a full refresh. The desk staff, couple of nice guys in their mid-twenties, weren't empowered to do anything but move us to another […] room. They couldn't upgrade to a possbily nicer room, or discount the nights stay. They were told they "were not to call" the off-duty manager. It was 6:00, not 2AM. They wanted to help, but their hands were tied. Tied by absent management and filthy rooms. We left after about 2 hours and enjoyed a wonderful stay at The Guest House International Inn. For $10 more a nigh I could have stayed next door in a nice hotel. There are many hotels in the immediate area. The room was clean but many years old, the beds weren't much better than sleeping on the floor. I can't really say much good about this place. "Not recommended"
Hotel staff was very nice, but the room was disgusting. Bath tub was a filthy yellow-brown color with soap scum and hair. Grime on the shower head. Large, nasty stains on the floor. Carpeting made my feet dirty! Toothpaste on the wall by the sink. Bed was uncomfortable. Pillows were flat, hard and disgusting. I called the front desk to request a bleach […] cleanser for the shower. We didn't wait long before an employee showed up to clean the bathtub. He was very courteous and friendly, but only had a perfumed smelling cleanser that he used to wipe out the bathtub. Nice thought, but hardly enough to convince me I didn't need shower shoes. It was night when we checked in. We were too tired to leave immediately, but we did check out the following morning and didn't stay the remainder of our reservation.
