The hotel was under construction so the entrance & halls weren't that appealing when checking in. The room was clean and well stocked with towels and bath supplies. I travel for work and pleasure so I have stayed at high end and low end hotels and I would put this hotel at the upper middle range for a hotel at this price. Only stayed one night. The room was ok, clean. The bed was completely worn out, provided no support at all. I couldn't sleep, my back and hips hurt so much. I asked the desk about moving, but was told all the beds were the same and that the mattresses were fairly new. After asking to leave to another Hilton hotel and 30 minutes of arguing, finally was […] told there was one room with a firm bed. The manager called a day or two later, told me they were already in the process of ordering new beds for later this year (guess the desk staff wasn't being honest) and would refunding my payment due to the problems and poor service of the desk staff. "Ask about renovation plans before you book!"
We were EXTREMELY disappointed that the hotel was under renovation while we were there. The swimming pool was unavailable (they did tell us we could use the pool at the Hilton Residence Inn next door... who would do that?). The remodeling was being done directly under our 2nd floor room so we woke up the first morning to loud power tools being used […] and spent our entire stay breathing in drywall dust. One day they forgot to close the exit door they had propped open all day, so we closed it at 10:30 pm. The next day they did not prop it open and you could barely see through the dust in the air. The stairway leading to that door was full of dust, debris and extension cords. Very disappointing. I think hotels should be required to notify you when you make your reservations that they are remodeling AND offer you a discount if you are willing to stay there. This hotel is very convenient for me when visiting family who live five minutes away, but I would also recommend for people visiting the Denver area. It is very close to Rt. 25, and a 15 minute drive into Denver if you don't want to stay in the city. Staff was VERY friendly and helpful. The pool is nice and well-maintained. The hotel is a little worn […] (cracked tiles, etc.) but very clean (and I am a germ-a-phobe!). The free breakfast is typical of any other Hampton Inn and a good start to the day. My best moment, however, was the night I arrived: Two hours late from flight delays due to 80mph winds, and when I walked in the front door of the Hampton Inn all I could smell was freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, and I was met by smiling faces at the desk. We stayed at this hotel with a high school gymnastics team. Rooms were very clean and the beds were super comfortable. Location was close to places for us to walk and eat.
