"Noisy toilet & small rooms"
My wife and I had a good time, but be aware that the King rooms are fairly small. Probably the smallest room I've seen outside of a cruise. With that said, they certainly make good use of the space. The beds were extremely comfortable. Bathroom and really everything in the room is very trendy and well designed. Two negatives on the super cool looking […] bathroom... (1) No bathtub, only shower... (2) Our toilet, although was cool squarish shaped, ran nearly continuously and when I say ran, I mean it was loud... so about 2am I shut off the water to toilet and just tunred it on in the morning. I feel confident that was an issolated situation though. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"awesome stay"
great service, very accommodating and informed staff. all local recommendations proved to be great including restaurant and club referralsGenuine Expedia guest review
This is a really cool hotel. The decor modern but warm and there's even a hint of country roots. I would definitely recommend it. It's a bit of a walk from Broadway though. The hotel offers a shuttle service that will drop you off within a three mile radius but it's on a first come first serve basis which can be inconvenient if you have a dinner reservation. […] The staff was really friendly. Overall a great experience. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great weekend get-a-way"
A wonderful hotel for a weekend getaway. Conveniently located close to downtown Nashville with a great Lexus shuttle anywhere within a 3 mile radius - nice touch. Nicely furnished... presents well.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"One night at the Hutton"
Room was nice but very small. Very cool bathroom but had glass that opened into bedroom so if you showered while someone was sleeping the light and noise would wake them up. Parking was expensive. Service was nice but not great. Hotel bar was good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"HUTTON"
Had a King Suite, it was 2 rooms that were very very small. The rooms feel claustrophobic because of the actual small square footage and the extremely LOW ceilings. Bathroom was small but beautifully appointed and impeccably clean. They optimized the lack of space with the sprawling mirrors and glass jack and jill sinks. Nice turn down service. Restaurant […] was good, not great, just good. Concierge was quite helpful. Laura was a little too eager, it became unnatural, but we believe she was completely sincere. My husband and i just decided that Laura was a stepford concierge as she was: always smiling and always saying, "I'd be happy to make you a reservation" - it was quite comical at one point. Overall, we had a lovely stay. Don't count on that courtesy Lexus, it is never available. We tried 4 days in a row and at various times. They will only take 1 person or couple/group at time, which I found ridiculous as the van pulls away with 1 person in it. I couldn't understand why they didn't take my husband and I and just drop us off at our destination after they accommodated the other person. After all Nashville is small and they don't go further than a 3 mile radius. THAT TICKED ME OFF. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Staff and Location the Best"
this is my third time staying at the Hutton. The hotel location is wonderful, and the staff friendly and caring, but the management needs to pay attention to the working of room air conditioning, consistency of toiletries, etc...the little things. For instance, because I am an Expedia VIP member I was given each evening a small tray of hor d'oeuvres, […] unfortunately there was no silverware or napkins. I know these are small things but for the price, everything should be closer to perfect! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"No bathtubs, WiFi extra, no advance notice of thes"
While the experience, my first, was very good upon arrival, the interesting things that prevent a 5 star include that there is no notification of appointments in the bathroom - no bath tub of any kind in any room. In addition, at these prices why are amenities like WiFi NOT included? A couple of very irritating items immediately impact my overall impression […] on how they embrace guests. I realize it's not unusual but, little by little, I am scratching off my list those establishments that continue to nickle and dime for every amenity (so far Hilton Nashville is off the list, too). "King-Bed Couple"
Summary: Spent the weekend with my partner in a King-Bed room. We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and nice and the customer-service was excellent. Room Idiosyncrasies: A King-Bed was too big for my room's floor-plan; The frosted glass between the bathroom and the bed looks very nice but leaves very little privacy when showering or using the toilet; […] There was no fan (that I found) in the bathroom to help with privacy and humidity. Any couple staying in this room layout should be very comfortable with each others bodily functions. Hotel Idiosyncrasies: The entrance is also an exit and is quite compact so if there are a number of guests checking in/out or receiving valet service at the same time (5-6 really) the entry becomes full and you are unable to pull-in (thus leaving you either unsafely parked in traffic or driving around the block until room opens up). In the same vein, the right-hand side of the lobby (the route to the elevators) is narrowed by a seating area and can get clogged with people during check-in/out times. "Good with some minor annoyances"
Lovely amenities, though the frosted glass shower was a bit weird, knowing the other people in your room could see you showering. Also, I hope you're a sound sleeper. Lots of strange noises; the air conditioning had a habit of abruptly shutting on and off. But otherwise, the staff was delightful, and the espresso machines on each floor were a nice […] touch. "Hutton"
Stayed here with my wife. I was impressed with the hotel; location, amenities, etc. however, like so many other "high-end" hotels, the climate control system prevents you from lowering the temperature past the "point" they deem comfortable. We both like to be cool when we sleep and we had to ask for a fan!! Lastly, I don't understand why any hotel would […] "claim" that they are a 4 or 5 star hotel when they have cheap spring mattresses. Put a temperpedic in and I will stay there every time!!!! The Hutton hotel is a converted office building just outside the city center. The lobby is decorated with many Restoration Hardware pieces and has a modern, inviting atmosphere. I stayed in a double room on the 12th floor with a great view of the Nashville skyline. The room was large enough to comfortably accommodate two adults with a nice desk area […] and reading chair. The rain shower head and granite tiled shower was a nice bonus! I had breakfast and lunch at the 1808 Grill. Our lunch was superb I highly recommend trying the "McGrattan" stuffed sandwich a creation of the hotel available in 3 options and very tasty! Breakfast was nothing special but it wasn't awful either. During my two day stay the maid neglected to clean my room while out and after lodging a complaint the response was above and beyond! Apologies abounded and I was presented with a voucher for free breakfast for two. Wireless internet is now provided for free which other reviewers had complained about so they obviously read and respond to guests reviews! My only real complaint is $25 for valet parking. Self parking is $20 so there is no savings to be had if you need to park at the hotel. The valet staff was great but I feel the price is a bit too high for the area. I feel $10 to self park and $15 for valet would be a more agreeable price point. Overall I highly recommend the Hutton for 5 STAR service, comfortable rooms and a stylish and comfortable environment. "Nicest hotel near Nashville"
Not sure if there are bath tubs in other rooms, which is usually a highlight of my vacation, but we were put in a handicap room sans bathtub. NO POOL? It was 108*. Would have been nice. Having refreshing drinks in the lobby a HUGE plus, but paying $25 for valet HUGE downer.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Staycation"
I service several hotels in the Nashville area, and most are older. We wanted to try a newer hotel so we stayed at the Hutton. The hotel was great, the only complaint I would make is the parking being $20-$25 a night and our room seemed alittle cramped. It was well appointed but could have used acouple more feet of space.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great staff"
The staff was the best. The rooms were a bit to small . We had a King Deluxe, and the decor looked like a 2nd yr art student was giving the visa card and went to town.Genuine Expedia guest review
"A fair experience."
Each floor has a room near the elevators, well we got this room on our stay. All night long in 703 you could hear the elevators going up and down and up and down. Then at 3 or 4am our curtain rod for the curtains on our windows just fell out of the ceiling. (yes the whole rod curtains and all). We complained to the staff and he just joked "well now […] you can say you can to Nashville and trashed a Hotel room?" Funny thing is we live in Nashville. Other than the above events the stay was nice, the restaurant is wonderful and I must reccomend you try it out! We will at least be back to the 1808 Grill. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Hutton Hotel has Spoiled Me"
The Hutton Hotel was amazing. I am now spoiled and don't think many other hotels will live up to this one! The only reason I gave a 4 out of 5 is because we left our Kindle charger in our room, and I called about it a few hours after checking out and it was never found. I knew exactly what outlet it was plugged into and in what room, but it was not […] returned to lost and found. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

The room was very nice, the staff was very accomadating, however we did have a little wait to get in our room because there were none clean at the time(which was check in time), Not the best "kid-friendly" room, there was no bath only a shower. "Great location and room"
Stayed here on an anniversary weekend. The room and property were great. It's only a $6 cab ride to downtown. The only con was parking ($20 to $25 per night). Would defiantly recommend, just factor parking cost in your decision.Genuine Expedia guest review

We loved this hotel. Beautiful rooms, great beds. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Not in the center of town but very close and easy to get there. if you care most about a good hotel as opposed to being right in the center of things, this is the place to stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel, but you get nicked and dimed..."
This was a very nice hotel, but in order to lower their prices, which was not cheap to begin with...they charged 20.00 a night for parking in their lot and 10.00 a day for internet. Rediculous!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Fantastic Nashville Hotel"
We stayed here previously about one year ago and were very excited to stay here again. The Hutton is one ofmy favorite hotels. Unfortunately, It didn't live up to my expectations from the last visit. Our room had a smaller and less impressive bathrooom. I could see the beginnings of wear and tear on the rooms. We were disappointed when we returned to […] our room the first day at the end of the day and it had not been cleaned. Housekeeping cleaned it while we were gone that evening. As usual, the staff was very friendly. The food at the restaurant was excellent. I still love the aesthetic and location of the hotel. It seemed that we were situated in the noisy hallway. The first morning, there was a caucaphony of slamming doors for at least one hour, starting at 9:00am til at least 10am. We were next to some noisy guests who came home late several nights and argued. We didn not have a noise issue on our first visit, though. I would definitely stay here again. I think that my disappoint lies in the fact that it was such a fantastic visit on our first trip and there were no issues. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Vanderbilt Hutton"
Love the beds and the bathrooms. Best option by far for the Vanderbilt parents crowd. Small criticisms: The hotel needs to get rid of the annoying elevator voice telling you the door is opening and closing. Ridiculous waste of money. Also, the maids shouldn't be knocking on the door at 8:15 in the morning to clean the room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hutton Nashville door left open, did not auto lock"
Very nice hotel. Staff were friendly, polite and responsive. Beautiful room but a bit small. Door would not auto-lock even after being "fixed". Came back from dinner to see door ajar (housekeeping had come in) with all our luggage etc. inside! Door later was "fixed," it worked somewhat better but still did not lock completely. Coffee/espresso maker […] on our hotel floor broke down but was not fixed. Try the hotel's 1808 Restaurant, we loved it for both food and decor. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
