We have included all charges provided to us by this hotel. However, charges can vary, for example, based on length of stay or the room you book.
Not bad but old converted office buildings need to have some spunk to work. This has a bit of a funky lobby and a rabbit warren of rooms. Still under some construction but being finished wont change much. Friendly staff. Why Westin co brands Aloft is a bit of a mystery. So far apart can't help thinking that as the number of locations expands the chain […] will get more mediocre conversions like this." "Noisy, paper-thin walls, under construction"
This was the worst hotel I have stayed at in 30 years of business travel for noise from rooms on any side. Even normal conversation carried right through. Woken up at 3am one night, then kept up to 1am the following night with some people entertaining a small group next door.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"diamond in the rough"
Overall the stay was satisfactory. We were disappointed, however, that there was construction being done and not everything was open. And as we were placed on a floor that was being worked on we were woken up by 7:00am daily with the sounds of construction workers. Our room still had things not completed, such as no closet hanging bar. When we arrived […] in the assigned room we found that there were still customers staying there and had to call down and be moved - a little disorganized at the front desk. We also did not realize that parking in the hotel garage was at an additional cost as that was not told us upon check in. We think that once construction is complete it'll be a beautiful hotel but maybe wait a couple of months before staying there. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very friendly, poor design"
The extremely chipper staff gave detailed instructions on finding our room. Thank goodness. Park in the small garage, go through two sets of doors then take the elevator the rest of the way. We got lost each time to & from. The major inconvenience turned out to be slamming doors, which can't be avoided no matter how conscientious a neighbor you are. […] We were told the hotel is being remodeled though. Hope this lets guests sleep in! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not impressed"
I wasn't very impressed with Aloft. The room was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. But my complaints are more in the poor design of the room: thin walls (you can hear literally everything around you), cheap laminate flooring that's peeling, slatted bathroom doors with zero privacy (seriously, who thought this was a good idea?), no […] vents in the bathrooms so it immediately turns into a sauna, the TV broke in one room and then the air conditioning broke in the room they moved us to, and the window in the larger room was tiny so if felt like a dungeon. "Could have been much better for the cost"
The Dinner food was not good. The order came out wrong, then it came back out cold. No frig or microwave in our room as it was told we would have them. When I reserved the room for 4 people, I paid for the "breakfast included" rate and checked ahead, that I had 4 people to be included. When we got there and had breakfast I saw our breakfast tickets […] were for only 2 people! The hotel did nothing to resolve this and said basically, oh well sorry it's just for 2 people that's the way it is. Well you know what, those little things count big and we will not go back or recommend them. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Overpriced, overrated...."
Property was tired. HVAC system in the room was very loud- hard to sleep when it was operating. Laminate wood floors were presumably clean but starting to delaminate. Our room needed paint. Mattress comfort was hideous- soft and saggy. Several better hotels withing walking distance. $62.00 charge for 3 nights of self parking. Staff in the bar/restaurant […] was indifferent- waited for 15 minutes while the blonde bartender chatted up a guy at the other end of the bar. Next time we're in Nashville we'll stay somewhere else. "Hotel Indigo - Nashville - TOO TRENDY FOR COMFORT"
A boutique hotel between downtown Nashville and West End/Vanderbilt area. Walkable to a few restaurants and bars. Easy cab ride or drive to several others. Cutesy and contemporary, but at the cost of comfort and practicality. Very poor lighting throughout room, walk-in shower with NO DOOR OR CURTAIN, made for a very wet floor. Also, no ventilation in […] bathroom, so after a shower no one could be in there to get ready, i.e. hair, make-up, getting dressed, and there was no carpet in the room at all, just small area rugs. We had stayed there a couple of years before and had a completely different kind of room, very modern, pushbutton shower controls, but comfortable. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hotel Indigo - not that great"
The location was perfect, but I wouldn't stay here again. If you've driven, you have to park in their garage, or chance it with street parking, but it's really confusing. You only know the garage is part of the hotel b/c its the same color blue, but the entrance is a little hidden and there are no signs. Once inside you find out its $20 a night for […] self-park, or $23 for valet, which, since you've already parked you're stuck with. The front desk staff are really ditzy, valley-girl accented, which is weird for Tennessee. After my stay I checked my debit card bill to find a $50 charge. When I called the girl gave me attitude about there being a "big sign, like, right there," and told me "like, ALL hotels do that (with upward inflection even though its not a question)." I have never stayed at a hotel that's done that to my debit card, but apparently the 6 she's worked at (b/c that's what she told me), and therefore qualify as all, do do that. It really shouldn't matter if I'm a complete moron or not, giving attitude is just terrible customer service. And I'm a mid-twenties blonde so I've been stereotyped plenty in my life, but I understand the value of good customer service as I do it professionally myself. Overall, the hotel was clean and fresh, the beds comfy, and the bathrooms clean, and we could walk to a local brewery and some great music clubs, which was the whole reason for the trip, so it wasn't a total loss, but I think I'll stay somewhere else next time I'm in town. "Parking"
Had to pay an extra $25 to park. Ouch. Some restaurants around but not many. Did have a great bed. Live entertainment was nice in the bar. This place was hard to find. Call before you arrive.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Last Stay"
I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past, primarily because of its proximity to my office in this city. After this last trip, I have decided no more. While the staff is very friendly and accommodating, which is very important to me, the cleanliness and condition of the hotel are not on par. The carpets are filty and need replacing, the back […] stairs that lead to the parking garage smell horrible. There is an asian restaurant in the ground floor of the building and their trash or whatever smells up the entire stair well. I usually have to hold my nose while going out to the garage. Lastly, the food at the bar in this hotel is one star above dog food. Their salads, which feature chicken or salmon on top are tasteless, and the meat always seemed to be frozen and microwaved. Yuck. When you travel as much as I do for a living, you hope for a halfway decent meal at night. I would llike to stay here in the future, but management needs to make some serious improvements to warrant my doing so. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Doubt we will be back"
I had stayed at the hotel several times before by my self and things were fine, but this time with the family was not good. This time, they seemed to be having problems with the AC and other maintenance. Our room was always hot and seemed impossible to cool. The irritating key system stopped working at least once. The only way to get from the parking […] garage to the hotel is to go down a small back stairs or go outside on the street. Neither was a good solution with kids & bags.
