"Dump!"

"Will not stay again!"
Room had a very old and musky smell to it. Wasn't very clean at all and everything in the room from a to z was out dated. The people in the room next door to us was fighting all night long before and after the cops showed up. When you hear that until 3 am it makes for a long next day. When checking out the following morning I was asked how my stay was […] to which I told them about the couple fighting and the cops being called. "Nasty conditions"
The room was nasty. My mattress had so many stains that it made me sick to my stomach once I noticed it. The bathroom toilet had urine stuck to the bottom of the toilet. well, it was bound to happen. i have always been satisfied with the rooms i've booked through hotels.com. this time, total disaster. the clerk at the desk was polite and as helpful aspossible , but that was the only good thing. the first room he gave us had the full appearance of a crack house flop room. there was a horrible sour dirty stench when we […] opened the door, everything wasw extremely worn, the bed was so broken down i doubt a dog would be able to sleep on it. i went back to the desk and complained and we were given a different room that at least smelled clean when we opened the door. the bed wasbetter, but still was only a regular double bed and i had booked the rodeway because it listed queen size. when you have a 6ft2, 250 lb husband you don't want to sleep in a double bed. i was told that there are NO queen size bedsat all at this motel. there was also no coffeee maker in our friends room, and it was in wretched condition also. the surrounding neighborhood was awful, we expected to be in the middle of a cops drug bust at any moment. we went aheaad and stayed only because it was already paid for and we decided that it was only going to be for a very few hours for sleeping only. then as we were leaving at 1030 on a sunday morning, the highlight of our thankfully short stay; a ---------on the front parking lot, complete with ----, ambulance, paramedics. needless to say, we couldn't leave fast enough. i really can't understand why Hotels.com continues to list this place. they are usually so much more above board. all i can figure is the motel is pulling it over on them to. long ,wretched story short --- DO NOT STAY HERE. i will continue to use hotels .com, but i'm going to be even more wary in the future. I thought it would be closer to Broadway. The staff was very friendly, but the hotel needed some updating. The room was not very clean. There was hair in the toilet and in the shower. "Terrible Service, Terrible Rooms"
I decided to stay at this hotel because I would only be there for one night and the traveler reviews were not bad. However, I regretted it shortly after checking in. The room looked like crap, and the toilet was not functional. When I reported this to the front desk, she told me to try flushing it several times, which I did to no avail. Then, instead […] of just moving me, she made me wait while she woke up the maintenance guy and had him come to the room to try to repair it. After the toilet continued not to function properly, she finally moved me to an equally crappy room with a functional toilet. I arrived at the hotel after 11 PM after having driven 8 hours from Michigan, and all I wanted to do was settle in and get some sleep, but getting some much needed rest was delayed because the manager was not hospitable enough to move me to a fully functional room upon realizing the one she’d placed me in was not. Then, there were a few problems with the room I was moved to (e.g., the shower was broken, but usable; no iron or ironing board in the room, and staff would not bring them to your room; and a few other things)!
