"If a 10 min drive to town doesnt bother you...."
Stayed in Nashville for 2 nights for a PvD concert. Room was kinda small. Outdated lights, comforters, bathroom. Sink is on inside room with the toilet & shower. My boyfiend and I stayed at this hotel for a weekend getaway. We were on a budget and just needed somewhere to sleep. The room was dirty with stains everywhere; from the carpet, bed linens, to the bathroom walls, tub, etc. While waiting for a cab, in the neighboring motel parking lot, we saw a serious altercation between a large group of people. "a bed and roof"
I booked this because it was cheap and thought, "well how bad could a ramada be?". This is apparently the worlds oldest Ramada. It reminded me of an old airport motel that someone tried to refurbish using the cheapest contractor they could find. But the staff was pretty awesome. The manager even gave us a ride to the opryland resort, free of charge. […] And its about a $17 cab ride from downtown. The room was not clean. There was mold in the shower. The carpert was soiled. There was a dirty sock left in the closet from a previous guest. There was only half a roll of tissue in the room. "Nasty hotel no one should ever stay there."
First the hotel is external so you have access to your room from outside not helpful if your on the third floor. The outside of the hotel is a front because it looks nice but when you enter your room it looks like a dump. All of the appliances are out-dated. The carpet was soiled and needed to be cleaned. "Got what we paid for"
I was meeting up with three girl friends for a weekend away. We booked the 2 bedroom suite, and it was just the right size for 4 adults. Modest accomadations. Very Modest! But for what I paid for it, I guess it was not all that bad for an overnight stay. Room was clean and beds were clean. Although every room was small and the hotel room's appliances were very old. It had a so so bathroom. My cousin and I went to Nashville for an overnight trip to check out the bar hopping. Ok, this hotel is sorely in need of some updating, in particular the bathrooms. They appear very aged. But they were clean! Extra towels would have been nice as well. They weren't actually in a bag, but no mice had gotten to them. So, I guess that was a good sign. Nasty nasty nasty, but what do you expect for a pretty cheap hotel? Also, when our car got smashed into by a tour bus in the parking lot the guy at the front desk was pretty dismissive. Hotel Staff was very nice.... They guy who checked me in was very nice, he called to check on the room and if everything was good. Our vent in the bathroom was leaking onto the floor so he switched our room with no problem. Tried to use the stove in the kitchen and it didn't work.
