Extended StayAmerica Nashville - Vanderbilt

This hotel is in a good location and priced well compared to other hotels in the area. It's definitely nothing fancy, but it works if you are just looking for a place to crash.

From the moment we walked in, the employee behind the desk made us wait a good 5 minutes while she gave the maid directions. The room had hair on the counter in the kitchen. Cigarette burns on the comforter in a non smoking room, which smelt like smoke all the way down the hallway. There was no secure entrance at night. No ice in the building. I'll make this short and to the point.. After the original hotel we wanted to stay at was completely booked, a booking agent I contacted over the phone through hotels.com suggested this hotel. The only positive thing to say about Extended Stay America - Vanderbilt was the location was great, so close to all the great things to do in Nashville. The negatives... […] Our room was disgusting, dirty hand prints all over the walls, there were bloodstains on our bedsheets and cigarette burns on one of the pillow cases. When we brought the sheets downstairs to show the front desk staff, the woman behind the desk didn't apologize and seemed annoyed to have to grab us a different set of sheets. Everyone we encountered at the desk was unfriendly (that is if you could even get in contact with someone, half of the time no one was ever behind the desk), they seemed irritated when we asked for a taxi to be called to come pick us up. I would NEVER stay at this hotel again, I've stayed at hostels in other cities that were better quality and more accommodating than this place. Don't waste your money on this dump. Read more

After Reading some negative reviews we were a bit hesitant to book this hotel, however we decided to give it a chance and we're very pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean, bed a bit stiff but otherwise no complaints! About a ten dollar cab ride downtown made for an easy way to go out at night. We will definitely use this again when we return […] ! No four star hotel but certainly right or the price! Read more
