On the banks of the Cumberland River, downtown Nashville is home to such popular attractions as the Ryman Auditorium (known as “The Mother Church of Country Music”), Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge (where stars like Willie Nelson were discovered), and the Country Music Hall of Fame. The State Capitol is also here, as is the home of the Tennessee Titans (football), who play at LP Field.see all hotels in Nashville
Room was nice, seemed clean, comfy bed, and it was quiet thats all was needed!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel is like a mile from downtown so not that far. There is nothing much to do around the hotel I think. Hotel is kind of okay but they have a fridge, microwave, free wifi and parking which is really nice. They didn't have a lot of variety for their breakfast but overall I would recommend this hotel if you don't mind staying a little away from […] downtown. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not great, but effective"
Cheap, ugly neighborhood, but close to downtown activities.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient Location, Close to LP Field"
We were in town for the Titans vs Colts game. Hotel very easy to find, right off the exit. Hotel very convenient (walking distance) to LP Field. Besides that just a typical low to mid-grade chain hotel accommodations. Stay away from the Shoneys we made that huge mistake, absolutely disgusting!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Overall not bad"
It was a last minute booking. Upon arriving, the attendant at the counter was a little rude to others in my party (I used my card/information to book the room) & less than helpful. He advised "security would be coming around to verify we only had 4 people in the room" - no one ever checked, but it seemed a little odd to me. The location is a little […] rough, but a quick cab ride to fun areas. ****HUGE hassle to get out of the parking lot on a Sunday due to the ginormous church across the side street directing their parking. For the price, I would stay there again, but that's pretty much the only reason Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfortable and Convienent"
First time staying in the Downtown Nashville area. Came in for a festival. All true downtown hotels were booked, and Knights Inn was the next best one. It was convient still for Downtown because cabs seem to make regular runs to there to bustle guests downtown. Cab ride for 3 people was only ~$8 (be sure and tip though!), which was well worth it. You'll […] waste time and probably more money roaming around downtown trying to find a parking spot. It is also not too far to walk to downtown-granted you wear reliable and comfortable shoes. The room was nothing spectacular, but it had everything we needed-tv, mini fridge, microwave, and haridryer. There is also an outdoor pool, but we didn't get to use it because it had already turned a bit cool for swimming, but it was a nice option to have. All in all this was a good room for the price to get as close access to downtown as possible without actually BEING downtown. Unless you demand an upscale room, Knights Inn is a good choice for a Nashville visit. I would stay there again no problem. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Not a bad hotel , located near downtown , I was only there one night ,,Genuine Hotels.com guest review
About 15 minutes walk to downtown. Basic but no complaints for the money. Helpful staff.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"IT IS WHAT IT IS"
Not a terrible place, but it is what you pay for, a place to sleep and take a shower... that's pretty much it, don't expect a spa day here or anything. The only reason we stayed here is because the Taylor Swift show was in town and all other downtown hotels were goibg for $300 plus per night, this one was $50.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to the stadium."
The hotel is a great place to crash if you are going to see a football game and want to spend the night. Free parking, and within walking distance.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"It's close to Nashville downtown"
Honestly, this place was old, and maybe a little shady. However it was pretty close to downtown Nashville (1 mile). I didn't expect much, I didn't get much. We were grateful we didn't get assaulted or robbed at the place. Also keep in mind there is nothing open after 11:00 pm for at least a mile in every direction, so plan ahead.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Easy, affordable, comfortable and convenient !"
Hotel is right off the interstate, about half the price or less than anything around it. No frills, comfy and clean enough! Breakfast sucked but who cares! For the money you saved you can go eat like a king at Denny's ! Don't expect a 5 star hotel for a 1.5 star price. This places gives you more than you can ask for the price!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Over Night Stay"
We stayed one night on our way to our destination. It was very easy to get to, right off the highway. Real close to downtown. The man working the front desk was really nice and helpful. We were late for the breakfast but did get some coffee which was really good. The room was clean and smelled clean and fresh. Only bad thing we can say is the beds need […] updated (hard) and the pillows were flat. Bring your own pillows. Its a good place for a one night stay, I would stay again. "great value, short cab ride to Broadway Nashville"
room was surprisingly clean, as was the pool. Cab ride was reasonable distance and were there to pick up quickly. not much very close by but not far off is the strip as well as LP StadiumGenuine Expedia guest review
"Close to downtown"
The front desk attendant was rude to the lady in front of us, but was really nice to my husband and I. It is in a sketchy neighborhood, but close to downtown. Very short drive or a cab IDE for a little over six bucks. Hotel room was very small, but had. Flat screen mounted on the wall. Sheets were clean. Overall, I would sty again for the money.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"You get what you pay for"
There was nothing truly extraordinary about this hotel. It was pretty cheap so it met my expectations based on what I paid for it.Genuine Expedia guest review
We didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel. Overall it was nice. Only (huge) complaint was the "continental breakfast" was a nightmare. The room was way too small for the size of the hotel. Toast/waffle making were crammed into one corner so you were constantly waiting for someone to move. We only ate there once, and actually brought our food back to […] our room. There was a limited amount of space to sit down, and the people tending to the food were occupying a table, which I thought was inappropriate considering. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Cheapo place close enough to downtown that you can walk during the day and cab home at night. Cab was less than $10. Accommodations were fair, clientele not so bad. Skip the free breakfast. Fair deal for the price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Ok for that price"
Clean and comfortable enough for that price. The room was basic but the bed was ok and the bathroom in good condition. Lamp in the roof was flashing and needed replacement but fortunately there was some other lights. We got a smoker room, though we asked for a non-smoker room. Located in the sprawl just outside central Nashville location is fairly good […] if you go by car (which you of course do since this is the US). The area didn´t seem very walkable. "Was As Expected"
For the location and proximity to Music Row, the price was great and the hotel overall was decent! The hotel was what I expected based on previous reviews I read and based on the price and age of the hotel. The staff wasn't very courteous and seemed to be bothered by our check in. I would consider staying again just because of the location to downtown, […] the football stadium, and the new Music City Center if we visit Nashville in the future. "Good in a pinch......."
Hotel was clean, flat screen TV, beds were pretty stiff, Front desk was helpful and friendly. Can't believe that the room didn't have a clock/alarm in them!!! DVD player would be nice too! The supplied soaps/shampoo was the worst I've ever experienced!!!! My big pet peeve is slow draining showers and this room was awful in that aspect. Took a quick […] shower and the water was up to my ankles! Ew! Overall stay was the cheapest in town and did the trick for one night! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I showed up to my hotel room and it wasn't clean, so the manager upgraded me with a new room and helped us move our stuff. They were really nice to us through our stay, as well.Genuine Expedia guest review
"OK place to stay"
The first room we were given was unmade & messy. But desk clerk did come up with a new room fairly quickly. The room was pretty clean, but there was food in the refrigerator (out of casual sight). The bed was very firm, but we slept well. (Wife said she heard people at 1 am, but I didn't and I am a light sleeper.) The $rate was good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Budget hotel close to center of town"
Average for hotel of this price range. Front desk personnel are very helpful. Room carpet could use more cleaning.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good location to downtown and clean."
Stayed at this hotel for only one night and we had no complaints. The staff was helpful, courteous, and nice. Was checking out early and desk staff offered and allowed us to eat breakfast before their advertised breakfast times. Was greeted with a smile by every staff member we encountered. The room was clean. Although the bed was comfortable and felt […] clean, the sheets were stained and the comforters were ripped in places. All the appliances looked safe and were clean. The bathroom was clean and stocked with plenty of towels for the two of us. The location was close to downtown but it felt like you were in the middle of an industrial zone. The breakfast was good. Would stay again when only needing a place to sleep. Wold not recommend if you are staying here to enjoy the hotel grounds but if you are just needing a cheap place to stay that is clean and comfortable, this place is good. You get what you pay for...no frills...no complaints....just what I needed for sleep, shower, gone all day. Clean bed and bathroom, great price. Surprisingly wonderful courteous staff at front desk. They even have HBO. Disappointed the wifi didn't work in my room but not so critical. Breakfast was fine.. Protein, coffee, juice. I could see downtown […] skyline from my room. Will stay again! "Clean, comfortable, inexpensive"
My husband & I stayed here for a one night "mini-honeymoon." Decor wasn't great, but it was clean and comfortable. Very convenient location if you want to drive, not great for walking, at least at night. Bathroom could use updating, but everything was in working order. Great place if you're looking for a cheap motel in a decent area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Functional and Adequate Budget Hotel"
At first, I must admit I was skeptical of staying in this hotel when I read about how it was in a bad area of town, etc. However, having stayed here, the neighborhood didn't seem to be too bad, and you see a different variety of guests. There is also a security guard that works during the late hours of the night. However, there really isn't much in […] the way of grocery stores or restaurants within walking distance. If you want a hotel that functionally meets your needs as a place to sleep and shower at a budget price, then this particular Knights Inn fulfills that mission - nothing more and nothing less. "Can walk to downtown"
Mr Patel was great. He truly know about service and how to deal with people The location was brilliant as we could walk in to the city. We also caught buses from nearby which was really easy. The interior of the rooms was comfortable enough but the exterior of the hotel is pretty run down. Not a problem for us considering what we paid to stay. They […] have a security guard watching over the car park at night which was reassuring. Breakfast was pretty simple - don't expect anything that is good for your health. No fruit; juice bright yellow - powder? Many enjoyed he waffles Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Run down hotel with easy access to downtown"
Just across the river from downtown Nashville and close to Titans stadium. Neighborhood is very run down with no restaurants and feels unsafe for walking. Hotel shows its age inside and out. Staff was efficent, housekeeping kept the room spotless. Mattress was sagging and pillows too flat. Very low price, so I didn't expect much. Good for business trip […] if you're not picky. "Nice for One Night"
I wanted a cheap price and got what I paid for, which is fine for 1 night. It is right off the major route, however it's it a sketchy neighborhood. I felt nervous walking in the parking lot. The heater didn't work very well and the continental breakfast was all eaten up before I had a chance to check it out.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"one night stay"
Stayed one night to go to Ryman Auditorium. Room was clean. Had micro and fridge without asking for it. Moved to Fiddlers Inn to be closer to the Grand Ole Opry. Wish we hadn't left Knights Inn. No micro or fridge without asking for it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
When reviewing hotels, it's appropriate to base yor expectations on the price paid. With this in mind, we were pleasantly surprised. The outside of the hotel is a little sketchy and it's located in an industrial park but the rooms were recently updated and you can't get closer downtown with an arm and a leg. There did seen to be a few long-term tenants […] but it wasn't an issue. I would probably stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"decent location for the price"
The comforter had some small holes in it, and the lighting was very minimal in our room. The privacy latch on the door frame would swing and block the door when it was open. Thus, we had to be careful that the door was actually locked when it appeared to be shut.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"cheap is what you get"
Very noisey all night near a train depot. Other guest yelled and carrief on thru the night. In our room we found beer caps on the floor and some fake fingernails in a drawer. We did not enjoy our short stayGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Not like on map"
Knew this was a bare bones budget hotel, but the "downtown" designation is misleading. Was a $9 cab ride to get to the nightlife on Broadway. Would have been abt a 25 minute walk had the weather been good. But walking souls not have been a good idea as the neighborhood seemed industrial, isolated, and seedy.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Pretty good. Could have been better. Room was pretty clean with frig & microwave. Delicious waffles for breakfast!! The bed mattress was old and worn out. It was very lumpy and the springs dug into your back while you slept! Nice t.v. with sleep timer! The microwave plate didn't fit well and it hit against the microwave wall while it spun around. Had […] plenty of hot water which was very good! Housekeeping wouldn't give us towels when we asked for them off of their cart.
