beds were comfortable and clean. Was told by Hotels .com the shuttle service was available to where-ever I wanted in the area. was only available to airport. tub was dirty. pool was okay but the doors off the pool were badly rusted and one was hanging by 1 hinge. would not sty there again!!!

room was musty, there were stains that looked like blood on the bed, sink area is in the main room, pool area looked about 30 years old - rust everywhere - breakfast is subpar at best. With all the good hotels within 2 minutes of this one, stay elsewhere.

The staff was excellent . I have stayed in may Super 8 hotels in the past but the condition of the room was less than desirable. The bathroom wall had a hole in it, all of the base boards were off or partially off, the bath tub still had hairs in it from a previous guest. The beds were clean, the chair at the desk had dried milk or something on it. […] The security of the hotel was less than desirable the door into the room locked, the back entrance which eas suppose to be key locked would not even shut and the door coming into the hallway was broke and looked like someone had used a screw driver or something to break the lock off the door. There was repair work that was either in the process of being done or excess materials was just left laying on side walk. I started not to answer this survey because i do not like to be negative but since you sent a second request, i went ahead and filled it out. The hugh thing that concerned me was my daughter's statemnt of not feeling safe. Room was ok for the amount we paid for... we asked for a infant bed that took 4 hours to arrive and the hotel staff just dropped it off at our door and kept walking. I have stayed at this hotel before and have always had some complaints about it, but they just seemed to bother me more this time. Some may seem trivial but they all add to the hotel experience. And the coupe de grace this time was one morning when the night clerk came into the breakfast area and put his SHOES on the counter top where food is prepared or served. This was the first time I've stayed in a Super 8. I think it will be the last. It looked like it was trying to be nice. Beds were pretty nice. Large screen t.v. and nice counter in bathroom. Hotel tv went in and out had to hit dresser to make it quit jumping. The blow dryer quit working and had to play with it to get it going. On arrival at 1030pm it took about 25 mins to check in. Shortly around midnight the fire alarm went off, confusion reigned and the poor girl covering the nite shift obviously had had no formal training and was struggling to maintain herself. The alarm was as of a result of a broken toilet on the third floor and flooded the fire detection system as well […] as our room (2nd floor), we were told it is OK even though water was cascading out of the lights and there was no power in the room! We had to fight for half an hour to get another room while our story of no electric was verified by a cleaner! The Alarm was eventually isolated, basically turned off the whole system, more of a concern was that the fire department did not show up at all! The Gym is still not finished or working and the pool is in need of a make over, the breakfast is very basic, we only attempted to eat it once and the wireless internet sucks, better off with a carrier pigeon or USPS The location is a plus as is the price, so I guess you get what you pay for, so a one night stop over is what I would use this motel for and not an extended stay. Faulty fire alarms at 1AM, fire trucks arrive with sirens shortly thereafter. Fire alarms off and on after that made sleep difficult. The toilet flooded the bathroom when flushed. Still serving yesterday's coffee at 6:30 AM.

I have to admit, that the staff at this hotel was GREAT. The location was wonderful since it we as so close to the airport, and so close to I40 it was quick and easy to get to downtown. The staff was friendly, the breakfast is REALLY good. If you need a few supplies it is very close to a KMart, close to gas stations, and has a few good places to eat […] right around there (if you have children there's a McDonalds). The hotel was getting some repairs done, new floors, but any hotel you can run into that from time to time. At least they are keeping the hotel up to date. The staff was very respectful of the Do Not Disturb sign, and didn't bother me while it was out. If I needed the room looked after I just took the sign off the door. My stay was from July 18 - 26, 2011, and I loved the fact that my room had a microwave and a fridge, some places do not have that.
