Situated in Nashville, Fiddler's Inn is in the suburbs and close to Texas Troubadour Theatre, Grand Ole Opry, and Willie Nelson and Friends Showcase Museum. Also nearby are Nashville Toy Museum and Music Valley Car Museum.

"Nothing Fancy - Good bargain"
After staying at the Gaylord for 3 days for a chess tournament, I gave my wallet a break and switched to the Fidler's Inn for one night at half the price. The cab ride between the two properties is less than $5, and the adjacent Cracker Barrel Restaurant had excellent food at very reasonable prices. The hotel is somewhat worn and certainly not upscale, […] reminding me of 1970s motels, but it was clean and the staff efficient and helpful. The phone in my room didn't work, and they replaced it within 20 minutes at 10 p.m. The bed was comfortable and I had no problem with noise, but that could probably be a problem at times. really enjoyed it. We went to the Grand Ole Opry. The hotel drove a van and took us to the show and came back afterward and drove us back to the hotel. Every one we came in contact with were great.The only thing , the shower was not the greatest, but it was a big hotel and lots of people bathing at the same time I am sure. I was there last weekend with some friends. Although we would have preferred to stay downtown, but NCAA was in town and nothing avaible. We booked at Fiddler's Inn and were pleasantly surprised. There was water standing in bathtub and they said they would send someone and they never did. We all woke up around four in morning coughing and sneezing. When we checked out, I complained about the bathtub and the front desk woman argued with me that this was a new room and there was no way the bathtub had water standing in it. "Get what you pay for"
The motel was exactly what we expected. The motel was very convenient to the Grand Ol Opry and had lots of close by shopping and dining options. It was a cheap room in comparison to others in the area we wanted to stay so like I said we got what we paid for. Desk clerk was very helpful. "Old fashion hotel"
I'm aware that this may have been an historical facility at one point in time. The hotel was really old fasion. the beds were very uncomfortable and the linen looked as if it came from early to late 70's. "Disappointing"

"Clean, OK room if you like firm beds"
The room was mostly clean but a bit dated. Everything worked and you can't beat the location. My only complaint was the bed. The floor might have been more comfortable then their rock hard bed. We were there on July 1st, so it was the hottest day on record. But the A/C unit in the hotel didn't work well on the top floor. All in all the hotel was about what I expected. "A rude staff"
The staff could not have been less helpful. This is not a high class hotel but the people can be nice. They did everything they could to be rude. One day I wanted to use the shuttle bus and I told the person that that i would be down in one minute to get the shuttle. She said I do not care I am wating for a person and as soon as the person comes, I […] am leaving. They lock the lobby at around 10 p,.m so you have to communicate through a glass door. A guest needed a package which contained personal times, before she could go to sleep. they would not open the door or get her the package. there was a promotion which they refused to honor. The directions were often incorrect. For the breakfast buffet the muffins were stale and the orange juice tasted like water. The televisions were small and the reception was terrible.
