The hotel location was great if you wanted to go to Opryland or downtown Nashville (20 minutes). The staff was very nice, we enjoyed the restaurant on site, as well as, the hot tub and pool. I would definitely stay here again, but would probably request an "inside" room if available.

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It was true to its pictures. I received a great deal on Expedia and had no trouble booking the room for two nights. Service was good. It is right across the street from the grand ole opry and the opryland resort as well as the opry mills mall. Good shopping and restaurants nearby. Also, the hotel had its own […] restaurant inside with wonderful food. Mid price range. They offer free shuttles to and from the resort and opry. Only thing I would have changed was to include microwaves and mini refrigerators in the rooms. Overall, this was a great place to stay the weekend. I would definitely recommend. Read more

Swimming pool should be enclosed so that the noise does not disturb quests in their rooms. A Starbucks that is open 7 days a week would be a great addition.

They need to mandate no swimming in In-Door pool until 8:00 or 8:30 AM because all rooms are adjoining the indoor pool area and kids staying in hotel all were in the pool by 6:00 AM waking everyone up from both rooms we stayed in. There were no hours posted on pool being open.

Good location for going to ICE and opry mills mall, VERY noisy bc of closeness to traffic.Heated pool was not very heated :/ Could have put more than one small packet of coffee in the room at least my hubby had his morning cofee lol Room was clean, Beds not for us.However they did let us chick in a little earlier check in/out was fast an easy.

The hotel was nice. Clean. Staff was pleasant. Check-in and check-out no hassle. BUT - we did NOT like the sleep-number beds. Part of it was that we are used to a KING size bed and these were DOUBLES (yes I knew that going in). We could not get the beds to settle on a good number. Jets in hot-tub were not working on the last night of our stay - but […] stuff breaks. Pool was getting dirty (lots of hair in drain) by the end of the week. We were given a room just above the bus-stop and was asked if that was OK. They would have relocated us if necessary. Bathroom is TINY. Location is good for easy access to Opry Mills, Grand Ole Opry, and Gaylord Opryland Resorts. Downtown is about 10-15 minutes away via freeways. I would stay again for Business but not for family. Overall this hotel was very nice looking. The rooms were nice and clean, but do not get a room that opens to the outside. Very loud and you'll hear people walk by and the cars go by. Also, the location was excellent to the Grand Opry Hotel, maybe a 10 minute walk or less. One bad thing, not the hotels fault, was the number of convention or public event […] people staying there. On both visits I found hair in the bathroom and a less than clean bathtub The shower curtains are too long and it's hard not to step/trip on them when showering. On my first visit there was no soap in the bathroom or shower. Also the only blanket is a thick warm comforter which is way too hot for a hotel room. Sleeping with just the sheet was a little too cool. On my first visit I purchased the hotel and breakfast combo--don't bother. The coffee shop was mediocre at best and I've never been served such weak coffee. I guess they save money by putting very little coffee in the pot--horrible. Read more

The hotel staff was exceptionally nice and the lobby was very welcoming and decorated nicely for Christmas. Slightly disappointed with our room as it had exterior access and was a little noisy, but overall a great experience and much more affordable than staying at the Opryland hotel. The shuttle service definitely gains brownie points.

We stayed here for the Opryland Christmas. It overall is a good motel with the shuttle over to Opryland Hotel and shows with no extra charge. The outside corridor rooms are noisy from the traffic, We had requested an inside room for this reason when we reserved the room but did not get one. Good luck finding your room if you get an outside room, it […] is like a maze finding the rooms. This is a great hotel with access to the Opryland Hotel across the street, you can walk or take a shuttle easily. Great access to area restaurants as well; clean, nice indoor pool and 2 hot tubs; Great restaurant/grille attached to restaurant with live local entertainment; party of Grand Ol' Opry. Will def. stay there again on a trip to Nashville:)

This is a great location for business meetings, as the conference rooms are large and centrally-located. If a family wanted to stay at a decent location, had a rental car and was willing to drive a little distance for meals and activities, this hotel is a good option. The hotel was in good repair, the rooms were spacious, and the Sleep Number beds […] were a great alternative to standard hotel beds. The staff was courteous and always willing to help and wore smiles all day. That being said, half of the rooms' doors opened to the outside, which increased noise and decreased a sense of safety. One corner of the building has an outdoor air handling unit that creates a SIGNIFICANT amount of noise all day and all night long - even the typical noise of daytime activity was unable to mask the sound of the fans. The noise was worst on the 2nd and 3rd floors near that unit. There is a very good Thai restaurant within walking distance (less than 2 blocks), but the remainder of the local restaurants are deep-fried havens with the occasional steak offered on the menu. If you plan to stick to a healthy diet and don't want to drive for every meal, plan on lots of salads. I cant' say I'd stay here again whenever I return to Nashville, but I would certainly consider it. Read more

The staff is very nice, the general facilities are beautiful. The room was a little small, and the bathroom was teeny tiny, but the sleep-number beds were cool. Our room was RIGHT over the restaurant, which featured (LOUD) live music every night until 11, so we had to live with that. Also, there is a BBQ smoker right outside the restaurant, so we had […] to smell that. The A/C was also a bit stinky. We ordered a king, but only could get two doubles when we got there. I think if we had a king and a room in a different location, we would have given this a higher rating. The promised coffee was not always ready yet by 6:30, and we had to leave by 6:45 to get to our conference, so that was a disappointment. One of the days the coffee was ready, there was no cream. I know it's a little thing, but when you've counted on your morning coffee and they don't have it, it colors your view. However, since our conference was across the street at the Gaylord Opryland, AND the hotel provided a shuttle every half hour over there, I have to say I would recommend it for anyone attending a conference over there. The other plus is that it's across from the Cracker Barrel, which is nice for breakfast. Read more

Liked the shelving for toiletries in the sink area. Helps keep the counter clean. Needs more outlets convenient to the consumer, not hidden behind chairs, desks and nightstands. Clean and neat but noisy as our room faced the highway and exit ramp. The hotel did not appear to be busy enough that we had to be given that room.
