Northeast of downtown Nashville, the long-running iOpry/i radio show is broadcast from the Grand Ole Opry House. The show moved here in 1974 after a 31-year run at Ryman Auditorium. A country-music theme park operated adjacent to the Opry House until 1997. Now, Opry Mills shopping mall stands in its place. The Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center is also adjacent.see all hotels in Nashville
We had an unpleasant experience at this hotel. Our checkin time was at 3pm and we arrived approximately on time and were told our room was not ready and he could not "ballpark" what time it would be ready. The shuttle to Opryland hotel was to leave at 7:25 and left early so when arrived 5 minutes early we had to stand around for another 30 minutes to […] wait for the next shuttle. Then the cherry on top was that at 8:30 am housekeeping knocked on the door and woke us up when our checkout time was at noon. I would not recommend this hotel. "Would not stay there again!"
For two days we were locked out of our room as the keys did not work. Second day house keeping did not clean our room after they were asked to.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The pictures are slightly misleading. A lot of light will go a long way however there are no blinds, you either close the curtains for no natural light or have them wide open for anyone passing your room to take a peek if they so choose. Also the bathroom fan blew itself out of the wall while I was in there, luckily it missed me or the review would […] have been much worse. Overall, my suggestion is to only come here if you're planning on hosting a lady of the night or if you just can't afford anywhere else. Needless to say I called and change my arrangements to the Inn at Opryland within an hour of checking into RR Inn (much better option), which was only a $20 difference. "noise all night"
Noise all night from club kept me up!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Toilet was clogged as soon as we for there. House keeping moved out personal belongings to clean. Bathroom was extremely to small. Front desk rude rude rude. Won't use againGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We stayed here for a wedding. I travel really often, and have honestly never been in a more inconvenient hotel. Their "services", such as valet and luggage delivery, seem geared more toward charging additional fees than making their customers more comfortable. Self-park is $20 and very inconvenient to the hotel entrance. We waited nearly 40 minutes […] in valet lines. Luggage is then brought to your room for you (you can't bring it yourself in a cart), which takes more time. In all, it took about and hour and 15 minutes and about 35 bucks in tips and charges to check into our room - something that normally takes 15 mins. The room has no coffee makers and there is an $18 "resort fee" for items that are normally free. Lot's of other good hotels to stay in nearby and still experience Opryland.... "Loud room, horrible bed, not restful"
The name of the hotel was changed just hours before our arrival, and thus "The Radisson" was nowhere to be found. The first room i was given was situated on top of the air conditioning units, which disrupted the TV signal, and would have been unbearable to try to sleep in it. The replacement room was not much better. An outer room facing the highway […] and truck traffic that seemingly never stopped. The sleep-number bed was awful. I awoke after a short 4 hours with pain throughout my back and body. What a disaster. The staff was friendly and helpful though. Proximity to the Opryland Resort was excellent. "The hotel Raddison in Nashville, Tenn."
When I checked in to the room I was staying in I walked accorss the floor and there was water soaking accorss the floor. The room next door had furniture stacked every where because a pipe had busted but they place me in the room next to it and the carpet was soaking in water. I was moved to a room on the other side of the hotel and the toilet over […] flowed twice just from flushing. They came and used a rotor-rooter tool to unplug the toilet. Three times i had to get the key re keyed for use. The service people here friendly but the hotel was just very poor. The beds had some kind of blow up device that did not work. The beds were very hard. All in all, I would not stay in that hotel again. No one should have to work under poor conditions to always have to apologize to the guests Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Radisson Hotel Opryland"
This hotel stay was very uncomfortable and noisy. The room was outside and you heard traffic all night. We asked for a room with king size beds, but received a room with double beds.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
While the hotel boasts of a 9.2 million renovation, thay haven't spent it where it counts. The A/C was very poor and never cooled the room. We both awoke about 2am to a hot room and the A/C fan was bearly working. The sleep number bed also malfunctioned as did the television. We switched rooms to the other side of the building and had the same experience […] with the A/C and the bed. It was like they shut it off during the night to save money. The hotel also allowed screaming children to use the indoor pool in the open courtyard until after 11pm. The complimentary morning snack ends at 6:30am and they don't mean 6:31. They removed even the pot of coffee. Very cheap. We would have left but could not get a refund as we had pre-paid thru Expedia Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"A really bad hotel"
No microwave oven, no refrigator, ... We booked a king-bed room, but told by the front desk that they only have two-bed room... It sucks.Genuine Expedia guest review
"WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT STAY HERE!!!"
Have to be honest. I had a terrible stay. Not being told you were under construction & that the pool was closed & the restaurant was also closed was a HUGE disappointment!! Had I ben aware of those facts I would have stayed somewhere else. Hearing workers hammering on metal pipes all day long was unbearable. I actually left a day early & flew home at […] my expense. I'm sure once all is fixed you'll be fine, but you shouldn't even be open in your current state. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
