"Not what I expected"
We were suppose to have a King size bed in our room. When we got to the room it was very obviously a queen size bed and when we asked about the size we were told that that was considered their King size. They did not have any rooms that included a tub with the supposed king size bed option. While I am not incredibly fond of taking a bath in a hotel […] tub, I am 8 months pregnant and I sure could have used the relief of a hot bath. I had mistaken this hotel for one that we had stayed in before. We have actually stayed in the Hyatt Place close to the airport and it was a lot nicer. This hotel was not worth the money. "The room had dark colors and looked dreary."
The room had dark colors and the first impression was not good. The bathroom was so small that you had to open the door and squeez your way in because the commode was in the way.For the price you would think they would have a shower cap in the room,but when I called the front desk,they told me I could come down to get one. I have stayed in several Hyatt Places before and have enjoyed them. The one at Airport in Nashville is great. This location is different. 1. We stayed 2 nights and our room was cleaned for the second night 2. we saw housekeeping so left the room at 11:30am so they could clean, but they did not. 3. told front desk but they did not seem to care. 4. Told […] them to at least put new towels but when we got back at 10:00 pm they had not so had to go get them myself. 5. on 5th floor and every time it took at least 8 minutes to get hot water 6. first breakfast some of the food was 20 minutes late coming out 7. second breakfast they ran out of everything and they knew how full the hotel was Last time I stay at Opryland Hyatt Place---may stay at others. When I checked in, my room had wet carpet. I was locked out of my room by housekeeping Tuesday and they locked my bathroom also. I reported it, they fixed it Wednedsay but Thurs and Friday, Housekeeping didn't tidy up my room and I am a clean individual but, they didn't make my bed or replace my accessories etc. No restaurants are around the hotel except […] the Crackel Barrel. "miserable nights stay, could not get sleep"
The carpets are stained and had visible dirt on them. The bathroom was very small. Most importantly the toilet water continually filled through the night and it was impossible to sleep.
