"Poor service"
Our group of six had two rooms- Which means we spent over $600.00 At your hotel. We had adjoining rooms. We left our rooms at about 11 am. The housekeeping staff were cleaning three rooms down the hall as we passed them on the way to the staircase. When we returned to our rooms later that evening one of our rooms where 4 of us were staying had not been […] made up. Our adjoining room was. When I called the front desk they were not helpful or caring basically offering clean towels. I was less than pleased and said so, no action was taken. Definitely will not stay at that hotel again. I was very disappointed. I booked my hotel room 2 weeks in advance for 5people. Once we got there we were told that there were no more double rooms we could have a king room. I rerserved for a double room so I wanted to know how my room was taken. His response was things like this happens...then he said I could have a king room..Once again..I mentioned […] I had five people...he couldn't find me another double size room at any of the surronding hotels so we had to take the get king size bed...then I didn't get any kind of discount. "July 2012, Hyatt Place"
I was excited to stay there initially because I read great reviews but was very dissatisfied during my own experience. The issues I had were...COLD water and very poor customer service. During my stay some of the staff attempted to rectify the situation by accommodating our drinks and food which was nice, they made up for the incidents that occurred. "Not again"
Air conditioner made metal banging noise every few minutes. When we came in to sleep it was about 1 am. I couldn't sleep because of it. Only 1 staff person was pleasant. I have never complained about a hotel, but I expected more from Hyatt and the price.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Don't stay here!"
First of all you have to ask front desk in order to have your room cleaned. When you call you get very bored person who hangs up on you before you finish talking. Pool opens up at 10a but no towels, you got it, you have to go ask for them. The room had cob webs in the corners, kids writing on walls, bath tub needed caulking, and if you went barefoot […] in the room, your feet got filthy. The bathroom was so small you had to step into the tub to shut the door!! The breakfast was ok, everything was mostly gone by 8:30a even though breakfast lasted til 9:30a, When we complained we got nothing from management because we used hotels.com. "Hyatt Place Opryland- I will never return!!"
The hotel rooms were not very clean and smelled of a mildew "old" smell. There was multiple dark brown stains all over the carpets and the couch was definately used and worn. We even found dirty washcloths under the bed which had me question how well the room was cleaned. The room was very compact and just not comfortable. You could not move in the […] bathroom due to it being so small and because of this, there was no privacy to change clothes. The kids had to go inside the closet to change. When we asked for an extra pillow, they stated they did not have any but would try to find an empty room to get one. Then we had to go down and pick it up. The breakfast area was also very small and compact. There was not enough tables to seat the people so we felt rushed in order to allow others to sit down.
