"It was not bad"
Stayed here one night to shop. The area didn't seem the best. The exterior made me think I had made a terrible choice, but it wasn't. The beds were large, not real comfortable, but the room was nice and I wasn't disappointed since it was cheap.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Below expectations"
We were less than excited when we entered our room. The vinyl floor in front of sink/counter area was yucky sticky -- we were afraid to walk on it in bare feet. Complimentary breakfast consisted of a choice of cold cereal or a small pre-packaged pastry. The only seating for "breakfast" was an old overstuffed sofa in the tiny entryway that served the […] customer check-in counter. Location was pretty good for just passing through Nashville -- but for nearby restaurants, don't try the Church's Chicken next door. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"This area of Nashville is not safe."
The hotel was decent enough, but that area of nashville is terrible. I'm not a sensitive person. I am not paranoid. But, I'm definitely staying in that area of Nashville again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"It was okay...."
I came into town with my kids for the Titans game. I chose it for price and easy access to the main highway (I-65). Shady area once I arrived...a definate negative. The room was alright; good water pressure, decent beds and, most importantly, no bed bugs. Yes I did look! I will most likely stay there again when I'm in town for the next Titans game.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"It Worked"
Place to stay on our way to Myrtle Beach. Outdoor pool, off the interstate and continental breakfast. Exactly what I thought we needed. Pool must have been a salt water pool tasted like it. I am sure it was due to all the sweat from people and not being taken care of, yet the boys were happy. Next morning breakfast was honeybuns from Walmart. But once […] again it was over night stay on the way to vacation. You get what you pay for. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"You better pack a firearm in your bag."
The hotel was acceptable for the price and the staff was friendly. However, I stopped before checking in and I was never so glad to have my conceal carry permit. The neighborhood was ROUGH. I would not recommend this for families at all.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Basics were good"
Hotel was good. Everything was decent. Nothing special but nothing bad. And as long as nothing is bad, I think everyone is happy. WiFi was good, Tv was good, bed was good, which to me, is all that matters.Genuine Expedia guest review
"it's fine"
well....it is, what it is. it's old, but it's clean and cheep and you get coffee, cereals and orange juice in the morning. Wifi is for free. I think it is totally worth the price you pay.Genuine Expedia guest review
"EconoLodge Jekyll n Hyde"
This was our second stay here since our first stay was preety good. Apparently we got a renewed room the first time. The room this time was very low quality and cleanliness was bad. Toilet issues. Won't use them again when traveling thru.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good value for money for short stay"
Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel is about 15 min drive from the city centre which works for a short stay. Although breakfast was supplied (basic breakfast but at least it was supplied), there was nowhere to sit to eat breakfast.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good place for the price!"
This hotel is a good place for the price. However, it should be noted that it does not look new or well maintained. It has somewhat of an abandoned look to it. The breakfast bar happens to be in the same small lobby entrance where you check in. Therefore, it really requires you to bring your cereal, donuts, and coffee to your room if you are going to […] take advantage of their complimentary breakfast. But again, if price is the key ingredient to your search, this is the place. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Affordable"
Hotel staff were pleasant. The room was clean except for the floor. They vacuumed but the carpet needed shampooing and the bathroom floor needed washing. Odd smell of chlorine but this might have been from the pool. Convenient location. Close to gas station and fast food restaurants. Free parking at hotel. "2nd stay worse than the first! :("
I stayed at this same hotel two weeks earlier on my trip to Southaven, MS. It was my return trip to Cincinnati, OH, so I stopped again. (Please note that I booked both stays at the same time weeks before my departure.) The woman who was working the front desk had children with her on both of my stays. They were riding their bikes all through the parking […] lots paying little attention to the cars trying to get around them. They were also out in front of my room for quite some time making a lot of noise. It was annoying, to say the least. My room had numerous bugs--one of which was apparently a mosquito because I was nearly eaten alive! The toilet ran off and on all night just as the one had done in the room I had before. The overhead vanity light had to be left on for about 30 minutes before the light actually turned on. (It was fluorescent.) The blow dryer stopped working half-way through drying my hair--just as the blow dryer had done in the room I stayed in before. The bed was nice and comfortable. The temperature of the room was able to be adjusted so that was nice. The bathroom appeared to be clean. I really liked that they had mounted dispensers for soap, lotion, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner as this cuts down on a lot of waste from hotels. The location was also ideal as it was about 1/4 mile from the highway. That being said, the neighborhood was pretty scary. Most of the stores/gas stations have bars over all their doors and windows. There was a homeless man sleeping under the awning at the nearby Sonic. There was another man randomly wandering the sidewalk who almost stepped into traffic. There were stray animals running all over the place!?! If you are just planning on staying at the hotel or getting food through drive-thru, I didn't find the neighborhood to be of too much concern. If you are looking for a fairly cheap stay, you might consider this place. But now you'll just know that the saying is true: "you get what you pay for". :) Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Pet Owners Beware"
Hotels.com site says Pets Accepted. No mention of a $10 fee per animal per night charged when you check in. So much for a good deal on the room. Plus the king bed room I reserved was not provided, We were moved to a separate building for pet owners that had 2 double beds. Breakfast food was fair at best. Room was large, but sink faucet leaked non-stop. […] Otherwise our stay was fine. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Okay for one night"
The people that ran the hotel were very nice and polite but there were several things we didn't like about the place. It was in a noisy neighborhood; the beds were very hard; the breakfast was quite skimpy; the ice machine did not work at times--we had to wait and come back 10 minutes later to get more ice. The sink seemed new and had a metal stopper […] which we closed. But when we went to let the water out, we found there was no handle to release the stopper. So we had to leave water in the sink. Overall, it was okay for one night but no longer. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Not impressed"
I can't say I regret staying here. But I would not go back, either. The hotel was convenient, safe, and a great price. I have 2 small kids and I didn't want them on the carpet. The floor didn't seem to be clean and the the carpet and tile was coming up in some places. The pillows were uncomfortable and room heater really loud, so it was hard to sleep. […] That was our reason for stopping - to sleep! The free breakfast was not impressive. Nothing I would normally eat. "econo lodge north/ nashville."
the hotel room was big and clean and everything was great. our only complain would be that it is in the ghetto and we were advised by quite a few people to be wary of being outside late at night. and it was kinda far from downtown. the ole opry is all shut down becuase of flooding, so unless you have a car or a reliable driver or a lot of taxi money, […] its not the best place to stay, which is a pity because everything else was fantastic! "No frills, get what you paid for room."
This motel is in an area that seemed fairly safe, didn't see a lot of bars on windows or that sort of thing. Easy to get to downtown. The room was clean, but it sure isn't 5 star (didn't expect it to be either). The bed was comfortable, the spread looked clean (sometimes I doubt they get washed between guests in some places). The bathroom and sink were […] clean too. It shows signs of wear and tear, but for the price it's a good deal. I would stay here again. "Just an "ok" hotel!"
Hotel lobby was very very small with no where to sit for breakfast. Breakfast was not good at all, just little debbie's, cereal and juice. The pool was very clean and nice. My room had a musty odor to it. If your looking for a cheap, basic hotel, this is the one. If I was in the area again, I would most likely choose something with more amenities.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Econo Lodge North Nashville - Decent for the night"
Nashville has a beautiful downtown, and the location of this Econo Lodge proved to be its biggest letdown. About 12 minutes driving from Broadway/2nd street in a mediocre neighborhood, I would opt to get a place closer to the action next time. For the price, I guess it is okay. Rooms were tidy, not too much noise outside, and breakfast was regular. […] Basically, as a one night stop motel on a highway on the way to a destination, this Econo Lodge would be adequate to satisfy one's needs, however if you are looking to spend a couple of days sightseeing in Nashville, and don't mind spending the extra money, stick with a hotel closer to Broadway.
