"difficult to get around"
took an hour to get a cup of coffee in the morning - they have the rooms but not the services to support itGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Seriously 20 for parking? 60 for 4 drinks?"
The lights are beautiful until you want to sleep. We took the stairs and they were filthy! They smelled like urine and had cigarette butts and garbage. as well as what looked like a dirty linen. The price is outrageous for what you get. The shuttle bus drivers were rude. All in all not worth half what we paid!!! Just stop by and see the lights and stay […] two exits away at Club Nashville!!! i thought it was lousy too many people tiny basement floor room confusing to get around and enormously over priced on everything. i had a meatball sandwich, peanut butter and jelly sandwich a hamburger and 4 waters and my bill was 143.00 dollars...very unimpressed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Opryland"
For such excessive cost, one would expect courteous staff. This was not the case. At one of the restaurants, two of the hostess never made eye contact with me as I stood next to them asking a question. One never acknowledged that I was standing there. I heard other hotel quests express the same. We will never go there again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nickel and Dime You to Death!!"
EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING costs extra. I went to the fitness/sauna room which I already paid $25 per day to use, and they wanted $1 for a towel! They charge $25 per day to park, television is an extra charge per day, the food is EXPENSIVE-almost $30 for a hamburger and one beer!! Then, even though I paid cash for all these extra charges, I was […] presented with an extra bill upon checkout that was over $100 that included a bunch of taxes and use charges!!! Forget it! "Retirement Disneyland"
Its a retirement Disneyland! Room was fine. Food was pretty average and overpriced.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Huge disappointment..."
I booked a single room with a king size bed, but what I got was a pull out sofa bed...what a disappointment for my 28th wedding anniversary. Alex with Hotels.com was awesome. He helped me cancel my reservation and quickly found me another room at another hotel that was exactly what I had expected from the first room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel is very large; they positioned our two rooms on opposite ends of the property despite my advanced request. The lobby areas, elevators and hallways are very "traffic worn." They are not maintained as they should be or consistent with the property. I attempted to order room service, and was quoted a 2 hour wait time. On property restaurants […] all have less than adequate offerings. The entire experience was like a theme park...not a high end hotel. I would not recommend it. One of the worst experiences I have ever had a hotel. Between rudeness of some staff personnel, charging fees that they shouldn't be charging for to charging for self parking and different prices each and every day, it was a horrible experience. Food overpriced and horrible. Would NEVER go back and NEVER recommend to anyone.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"will not return"
will not use your hotle again. We had requested a king bed. upon arrival we were tols that was not a guarentee and give twin beds. We were dismissed as though we were not a client at all.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Hidden Fees!!!"
I hate hidden fees!!! I will never stay this hotel!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Paid for a King Bed, recieved a Queen Sofa"
I booked through Expedia a week in advance. I paid for a King bed and they overbooked and they gave me a queen pull out sofa bed...that was so uncomfortable. They didnt seem to worried about it and I feel I overpaid to sleep on a bed that was an inch thick,Genuine Expedia guest review
"Would not recommend"
Would Not recommend this hotel. It is supposed to be a resort but most of the restaurants were closed. Expensive ones open. Food at the Irish pub bistro very poor. Parking is an extra charge, beware. gardens are lovely though.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very Unwise Accommodation Choice"
The hotel itself is glitzy but a bit tacky. The staff were polite and friendly but were run off their feet because the hotel was sooooooooooo crowded. It was so busy that we faced a 45 minute wait for a seat at any of the restaurants- on a THURSDAY! night. We finally gave up and ordered in-room dining - very big mistake. The meal was awful and the latte […] completely undrinkable. The hotel is a long way from downtown Nashville and they charged us $20 per person for the round trip bus ride. We were also charged a $15 per night "Resort Fee" and the parking fees were relatively expensive. We only stayed 2 nights because we had booked in advance and could not cancel.
