I made this reservation for my son and his new bride for their wedding night. Despite the fact that I didn't make prior arrangements for anything special, they sent them strawberries and champagne to their room. Very thoughtful! This hotel was a nice and clean place to stay. However, I have stayed at Holiday Inns' that were nice and clean. The room had wallpaper peeling and the grout in the bathroom was in need of a good cleaning. I was not impressed and will probably go will the cheaper Holiday Inn or alike next time I choose to visit Nashville.

Thsi hotel is currently under going a major remodel. Keep that in mind if your traveling soon. The front desk staff was out standing. They took very good care of us, exactly what you'd expect from a hotel of this caliber. However with the remodel, whoever is in charge of cleaning rooms is allowing they're job to slip a bit!! Our room, though clean just […] didn't seem as clean as it should have been. When my wife and I first got to the room we found something kinda wet and sticky on the comforter on the bed, I contacted one of the maids on the floor, and they promtly took care of it. When we arrived there were dirty underwear in the room, we called and got moved to another room and we were given the concierge floor and the food complimentary.The hotel is nice, but a pain BC it is a 8-10$ cab ride to downtown. The neighborhood around the hotel is OK with the Vanderbilt campus and centenial park, but the real fun is downtown. There's not a single negative thing I can say about the Loews. The hotel staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean, the location is absolutely perfect. If you want to take a cab to the bars and restaurant on Broadway it will cost you less than $6. The bed is so comfortable that you just want to take a day and lay in bed, but then you would be missing […] out on all the Nashville has to offer. Great location near downtown. They have a shuttle to take you there. and pick you up. Ruth Chris inside the hotel. Bar in the hotel is so small and appeared to be closed . Baths in the rooms are very dated with 20 plus year old tile on walls. time to update. staff was nice.

We had a nice stay at the hotel, however, we felt it was time for some repairs. We thought the hallways and room could have been cleaner and they need new paint, carpeting and wallpaper.

I stayed at the Loews many, many years ago, and the service is definitely not as good as I remembered it being. Our room was never fully cleaned the whole 3 nights we stayed. Trash was left in the corridors. I don't think it was vacuumed once while we were there. I think it's annoying that the guests have to pay for parking. The hotel should comp that […] and only charge those people who are not staying at the hotel. The hotel at first glance looks really nice and upscale, however it lacks upscale quality when you really look at it. I feel this hotel probably caters only to those guests staying in suites or more expensive rooms. I am in travel and every guest should be treated like a guest. We stilled paid a good amount of money for our standard room, however we were in substandard surroundings. I am a world traveler as are a lot of my friends, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone I know. Read more
